We called it Daz, I don't post on LSE any more, wonder where GFD and Ned are now?
I am convinced they are the same person, pretty sure Rahim is their reincarnation.
KOD are screwed, writing was on the wall a year ago.
BA is such a great salesman though, how he can convince new people to invest is incredible. Can they not see the previous fund-raises all the way up to what SC bought at?
This will be a firesale before too long...
Good luck mate, always enjoyed your honest posting, alongside Bib, james etc.

everything on hold, 1.5b added to registry, cash position not improved, relying on investors to pay the bills!

cyril, you state "mining license imminent", how so? It took 5 months for MLL without a global pandemic unfolding! Don't expect to see news on this front before September imo so given the limited cash I expect to see massive dilution in the coming weeks!

cyril,

You may well be right, but lithium was in an oversupply situation before covid-19 hit China, and now that they are back producing, I suspect the USA and Germany will be stopped, further depressing demand. I'm surprised JPM are bullish to be honest.

I agree it's all a punt as you say, but I personally think financing companies will be very challenging for quite a while after this crisis is over.

Kodal at this price could attract a predator of course, never say never, new holders would stand to benefit, long termers less so, unless they have averaged down.

You're correct but it will probably be through the off-take partner they have on board.Jp Morgan have just gone bullish on lithium due to China bringing back EV incentives. It's all a punt, but what isn't these days.

Funding? In this climate?

That won't be a stroll in the park.....

Yes, no cash raise yet and mining license approval imminently. Once approved it's then down to funding.

I can't see any way back for KOD now. Such a shame, it was exciting share to hold once upon a time.
The only thing I will be buying in a few months time will be way undervalued companies with solid cash/revenues. Probably big US tech stocks actually, they are bound to survive and capital on all of this carnage...

Take a look at the disconnect between market valuation and project value!

MLL - MC $26m - NPV $920m = x35
AVZ - MC £228m - NPV $2.3b = x10
LTR - MC $214m - NPV $507m = x2.6
KOD - MC $9.5m - NPV $300m = x31.5

When the market believes that Mali can deliver then watch the gap close, upside advantage is with Mali! imho

Mali Lithium (MLL AU) A$0.082, Mkt Cap A$26m – new presentation highlights benefits of the Goulamina project

Kodal Minerals* (KOD LN) 0.058p, Mkt Cap £5.3m –

Mali Lithium have released a new presentation on their Goulamina lithium project in Mali.

The presentation highlights two possible routes to ports in Senegal and the Ivory Coast at Abidjan port

The PFS envisages bulk transport of 362,000tpa of spodumene concentrate by road to the Abidjan port at a cost of US$87/t.

This is slightly cheaper than Kodal Mineral’s cost estimate of $93.60/t to the port of San Pedro which we believe is a shorter distance than the port of Adibjan.

Trucks from the Perkoa zinc mine in Burkina Faso truck concentrate similar distances to Abidjan.

Mali Lithium and Kodal Minerals recently signed an MOU to explore synergies between Kodal’s Bougouni project and Mali Lithium’s Goulamina project

The idea is to share key infrastructure close to the two mine sites in Mali potentially saving an estimated US$100m in the process on the two projects.
