Yes Chinese gave them nearly £5m at a premium (0.38p) and they like a bargain. Fully funded for the exploration programme as the RNS today suggests. If they continue to get grades and intersects like the last rounds of drilling early this year across all of their discoveries they'll fly as the JORC will be an eyeopener. Put VAST's 1.8Mt at BP into one corner of what KOD's found.

Good to see some new money getting in on the cheap before the next set of drilling results. Folks can get in below the 60% premium (almost 100% premium to yesterday's close) that the Chinese paid to the current share price. Time for KOD to get the market recognition it deserves.

There's been a large seller that wanted out on the cheap and therefore supressed the share price. Gonna get cleared on this volume. They wanted out, Chinese wanted in. I'm not complaining about picking up millions on the cheap though, it would be rude not to. Without them it wouldn't have been possible to buy in the low 0.2's.

Yeah fella, lith prices are going to really well once the real demand for EV, power generation and storage kicks in. A lot of money to be made on Li, Cu, Ni, Co, Mn et al and the REMs. I cannot see the lock in being important, they're here for the lith not the share price imo. Their backer is a large supplier of lith, they'll want that offtake signed before the lith price goes up further imo.

Morning Ed et al, great news. Did you hear the spodumene prices and differential margin in the link I posted? No wonder SC want an initial 3yr offtake and first right of refusal on a subsequent 3yrs. They're locked in until May and even then they need to stay above 12% to retain their seat on the board.

Yeah its starting to look like the herd may take notice. KOD a bit like VAST and GGP only with multiple discoveries and a large Chinese backer! I wonder what their price target is above 0.38p. I guess though they're looking at the potential $bns of lith at these multiple discoveries after seeing the intersects and grades and thought how can we get 20% of this on the cheap. I guess that's why they've completed the funding at a significant premium.

You're welcome fella, great to see the Chinese complete their financing on the cheap at 0.38p. They knew they were getting a bargain at that level. Good volume today again so it seems as if a there are a few AIM investors left that know when to grab some cheapuns.

Great RNS.

Now Kodal is in the position for rapid delineation of the Lithium mineralisation at Bougouni. Once this is happening investors will see big returns on their investment.

Great to see them complete the financing at 0.38p almost twice yesterday's closing point.

"This final payment from Suay Chin completes a significant investment into Kodal and has provided us with sufficient funding to undertake our major exploration and definition programme at the Bougouni Lithium project."

Excellent, fully funded and a highly discounted share price too. Bargain hunters will get plenty today. Should be twice this price easily for a fully funded company, 0.5p would look cheap. Then the market could start to price in the multiple discoveries. Also not many companies already pretty much lined up for 80-100% offtake at this stage of their development.

lol, they're actively drilling again and are fully funded. You'll be lucky fella you'll be lining up behind the rest of us. Expansion drilling of the main and additional discoveries ongoing. You better hope you get in before the next set of drilling results and assays. When this shoots back up its gonna be fast its dropped on low volumes and I guess you've spotted the 5m and 6m buys recently hoovering those up. Not many will want to sell at the bottom given current activity. The shrewd Chinese spotted a bargain and bought these at 0.38 almost twice the price, just shows how oversold these are now. The current expansion/infill drilling will rectify this in due course. As the management state in the Q3 presentation they're still targeting JORC release within 12 months of the acquisition which makes it in the next couple of months.
