09/6/2022 09:10 | Will be appraisal work in the Shetlands to offset against levy on UK profits. Low tax (25%) on extremely profitable Dutch production (cost per boe is $2). Dutch TTF gas price bouncing up again today. | mariopeter
09/6/2022 08:55 | Agree Mario, steady as she goes, interesting bit about the best way to utilize the GOVT WF 90% tax reduction. | fandagle
09/6/2022 08:53 | Just a sleep easy long term hold for me this one. | fozzie
09/6/2022 08:50 | Production ...scope to improve. In a net cash position for first time. Be great to have Q11B tied in to Q10A and ahead of the pipeline re-route due to complete H1 2023. Looks like with the oil price that the Orion asset becoming very very valuable More drills to come. Some repurchase of debt. Good work. | mariopeter

07/6/2022 19:39 | Tulip people are not selling.....for good reason. Tie ins expired earlier in the year. Company is making an awful lot of money. Appraisal work and development of Glenronach and the huge (638 BCF) Benriach field needing work to offset the new tax. I read on another stock thread that KIST had jumped the gun on their investment in the NS; well so far after buying the quarter share of all that infrastructure and the discoveries KIST will have paid the entire capital outlay (100m+) and will have earned another 50m in the bank by the end of June with a further 100m in the bank by December..... all from the North Sea deal. Strange how some people see that. Could all be dusters of course but Benriach was at one stage a 1 TCF field but some appraisal work done already Total now sees it only 638 BCF. Perhaps the author of the post thought you could get tax relief on the capital expenditure of 100m which you can but not against the new levy and doubt we would need the relief V the new levy anyway. Happy with the 250m cash earnings from the 100m outlay so far. | mariopeter
06/6/2022 18:53 | Think you could be correct regarding the Funds, I do believe there was an 18 month (No Sell) agreement for Funds to Purchase at 50p/Share. | fandagle
06/6/2022 16:06 | Fund movements. Feel buyers should write thank you notes to the sellers! | mariopeter

06/6/2022 11:41 | Well the completion of the deal with TotalEnergies has yet to be announced as being completed although was backdated to 1st January. Was projected to be Q2. Be good to have that wrapped up so the analysts can get busy. | mariopeter
06/6/2022 10:27 | Are we due some sort of update? | fandagle
03/6/2022 20:04 | Understood alxo82, and thank you for sharing what you have.Agree with you that recent developments are good for Kistos M10/11 fields. Looking at best case in the CPR again, the M fields had NPV10 of 165m at gas prices of 15 to 20 /MWh. At prices where we are now, I make it over 1bn post tax NPV. | mr. t
03/6/2022 18:06 | It’s strange the compressor was playing up especially if it was overhauled last year, I suppose it may be a Turbine issue this time around, but I’m just speculating, hope it’s fixed now, these blips do happen especially if you only have one compressor train and no redundancy. | fandagle
03/6/2022 12:30 | I cannot elaborate, but that's what I was told by a trusted source. I am not the primary source of information either, so consider it an speculation. Soon we will know the April production in GLA, but I truly hope it was low as the prices started to go south that month and reached the annual minimum in mid-May. Also, the regulatory green light for a gas field similar to the M fields that Kistos acquired from Tulip gives some hopes that they can be developed despite being close to a Natura 2000 area | alxo82
03/6/2022 10:42 | alxo82, appreciate your update, I also appreciate that you may not be able to elaborate about recent P-15D compressor problems, but it would be relevant if there is a recurring issue. | fandagle
02/6/2022 23:42 | alxo82 - I appreciate you posting the link, thank you. It's nice to see the monthly volumes (even when they're not as high as is ideal...)How do you know the Feb reduced output was down to P-15D compressor problems again? | mr. t
02/6/2022 16:22 | Fandangle, which RNS? I only remember hearing about a compressor fall over from AA in his last Malcy interview. There is the RNS Thu, 23rd Sep 2021 07:00 -Number:6877M "resumption of production" following the planned maintenance but that was not to do with the unplanned issue...??. Rgds Sft | surfit
02/6/2022 12:00 | Mr. T, I get the data directly from the NL regulator: Fandagle, Kistos is my largest holding in O&G at this moment. I don't know why there wasn't any RNS regarding those issues, that's on the company. | alxo82
01/6/2022 17:06 | Think he got it from the (short this share.com), any issue with the compressor would be an RNS for sure, same as last year when it threw its hat in.........I smell sh.....T | fandagle
01/6/2022 16:39 | alxo82- thank you for sharing. Where do you get your info from, if you don’t mind me asking? | mr. t
01/6/2022 16:01 | March production in NL came lower than in January. There was an issue with the P15-D compressor in February, but nothing was published regarding March | alxo82 |
