Posted at 08/6/2023 19:45 by euclid5 Pollen Street Capital can earn 150% of any sale proceeds as they have funded KWG.still that gives Pollen around £105m from the £77m they have loaned them. Leaving KwG with potentially £145m, around 500% more than the market cap today. If they confirm any sale at £250m |
Posted at 02/8/2022 06:13 by johnwall Thanks for that andrbea - good to see KWG getting some attention in an article - I can’t remember the last time! |
Posted at 17/2/2022 14:21 by johnwall Hi pyemckay - seems just you and me here! After their most recent buy I see KPI (in which KWG CEO and Deputy Chairman are shareholders) now have just over 66%. You asked above about the likely end game - I guess going private looks more and more likely? OTOH, they could presumably have achieved that a couple of years ago, rather than doing the re-financing? Any thoughts? |
Posted at 16/2/2022 15:39 by pyemckay And another acquisition for KWG which is not going to be the last according to out CEO.I see broker forecasts have been withdrawn as they are so out of date but I am eager to see the revised numbers. Starting to get interesting at KWG now so its av3rd top up for me. |

Posted at 02/10/2019 19:58 by euclid5 smithie6, have you read the funding payments in Dec 2023 based on pref share conversion & shortfall payment to Pollen Street - also the market cap enhanced payment (Value Sharing in 4.7 note ) pro rata based on Pollen St holding, 52% - can't work out why they think this is a good funding package - only positive is will not happen untill Dec 2023 -Plus CPShares carry a 5% preference div per year - £40m x 5% = £2m pa x 4 = £8m plus no worry about any future placings & inst's dumping after a 50% rise - like you get in so many placings |
