16/9/2021 18:38 | Suspect it's the dilution fear. As I said earlier at £6m market cap I'll take that chance. | nigelpm
16/9/2021 16:23 | Well that was a quick trip up the stairs and we're back down at 0.22p already! The only way this share price will go up and stay up is if they discover a cure for cancer. | slamdingo
16/9/2021 16:19 | If it was 300% yaki, its other 'assets' must have been tiny before ! I agree Kat might be a sort of saviour for Kibo. (see some of my previous calcs on BB- very out of date as based on LC's original, exaggerated as usual, economics.) But there is still the cash needed to keep its stake in Haneti. And as ever its other 'assets' will be a cash drain. The latest empire building wheeze looks to be a mega one. If you want exposure to what looks like a profitable waste to energy business (probably because the feedstock, which would otherwise go to land-fill, will be dirt cheap compared with natural gas) it looks that Eqtec is the place to go - not one of the projects it builds. Acc to its house broker Arden, it charges an astounding 30-40% of the project's capex in upfront fees. (due its proprietary technology). How long it will manage to do that remains to be seen, because it means a serious dent to the profitability as seen by the project funders, of whom Kibo will be one. | lurker5
16/9/2021 15:46 | Interesting that Katoro gold is up 30% in last 2 days 300k increase of kibo net asset value | yaki
16/9/2021 15:39 | Looks like the penny dropped early today as traders flipped in and then out quite swiftly, probably close red. Lots more fundraising to be done as the market can obviously see, track record says a lot. | frankandbeans
16/9/2021 15:35 | After the pump comes the dump, more suckered into negative positions it seems. The question is when’s the fundraiser? | frankandbeans

16/9/2021 12:46 | Good idea to read Arden Partner's June 2020 research report on Eqtec. It is a project developer, not a part-owner as Kibo will be. As a developer Eqtec makes a shedload of cash up front, unlike Kibo which will merely participate in the project net revenues on economics typically 12%-13% irr' (ie less than Kibo was expecting on coal-to-power) Upfront capital cost for Billingam likely to be c£120m. Where on earth will Kibo get its share from ? You've guessed it ! But another nice little earner for himself Natch ! ! | lurker5
16/9/2021 12:16 | Billingham secures Kebo's future and will help get them into other projects. | idriveajag
16/9/2021 11:44 | Those that act on it are grateful Sir IB. Eqtec reports are of no use. Its all very early days for them, and none of its plants are up and running yet. They will all be (as will Billingham for Kibo) SPV's - so take note of the way MAST is relying on SPV's but hasn't told shareholders that their statements re cash flows are misleading. The cash stays within an SPV before all the external borrowing is repaid. So Kibo will get nothing for a long time, while it shells out investment in the SPV's. Same story as with its African power. As usual the Align Research report on Eqtec is also ignorant of the reality and as a result its forecasts are nonsense. As with all things Kibo, the sensible wait until every single financial detail is known before risking a penny. | lurker5
16/9/2021 10:40 | How do you cope? So many people to save! | sirianbotham
16/9/2021 10:27 | Decent transaction - will be dilution but at £6m market cap no biggie. | nigelpm
16/9/2021 10:22 | Usual lemming rush into they don't know where ! Kibo's news is always of yet more spending. Nothing to tell anyone what it will get back, and when. These 'key' shareholders should demand LC tells them - how reliable is this technology ? (Plenty of waste to energy projects have ended up in land-fill) What is total capital cost ? Where will all the funds come from ? How long to commissioning ? What total equity contribution will Kibo have to make ? Where will it get it from ? What economics ? Etc Etc Etc . But, then, how would a lemming know what to ask ? | lurker5
16/9/2021 09:33 | yep. Kibo can easily double/triple from these levels. Just NAV of listed assets is 0.6p! | yaki
16/9/2021 09:04 | The market is waking up to green potential of clean energy stocks - Especially in the net zero market where there are time stamps - Interest will start building up with patience - | tomboyb
16/9/2021 08:59 | pretty good stuff! And Eqtec market cap is 100m!!! | yaki
16/9/2021 08:55 | Green clean energy market is massive - Net zero projects etc - The interest is just starting - | tomboyb

14/9/2021 19:07 | The state of being obsessed with someone or something. Im sure you can see similarities between EDL NCCL and KIBO. Neither have exactly rewarded shareholders to date wouldn’t you agree? Other than with paper losses, and the majority that invested at any point over the last few weeks/months/years are unlikely to recoup those losses from their investment IMO. Hindsight eh? | frankandbeans
14/9/2021 10:32 | Frankandbeans Member since: 08 Sep 2021 Last 3 posts - same one repeated on EDL,NCCL and KIBO sites So what was the definition of obsession? | yaki
