28/6/2018 15:26 | Lest we forget, just for the Chimp who has an IQ lower than my average of 3.97 and his even more clueless mouse. Even more so with a new deal in Mozambique and with MCPP PPA due, then bring on the SML. Any time today or sooner for the SML, EVEN MORE SO AS THE CASH IS IN THE BANK now to pay for it. Tanzania Botswana Mozambique GREAT NEWS FANTASTIC Tomorrow the rest of sub Saharan Africa, then the world A Trolls worst nightmare. The more the aim chimp climbs the pole the more you see is Butt and those immortal words tattooed there AIM CHUMP | spooks4
28/6/2018 10:11 | Short6...we now in a very good position, the news hasn't sank in for most but reality is, up until now, we really didn't have much of a leg. Now the Mbeya is about to be realised. Going forward, I think by end of 2018 kibo will be in 20-30's and 2019 will be transformational for and AIM company. | duxy786
28/6/2018 07:34 | Things are moving .... loving ... in Tanzania later this month | duxy786
28/6/2018 07:07 | Dated: 28 June 2018 Kibo Mining Plc ('Kibo' or the 'Company') Joint Venture Agreement with Termoeléctric Kibo Mining plc (AIM: KIBO; AltX: KBO), the multi-asset Africa focused energy and resource company, is pleased to announce, further to the RNS of 6 June 2018, that it has finalised the Joint Venture Agreement ('JV') with Mozambique energy company Termoeléctric With the JV finalised, a full feasibility study on Benga has commenced, designed to confirm its commercial and operational viability; it will include a Pre-Feasibility Study ('PFS'), Definitive Feasibility Study ('DFS') and an Environmental Impact Assessment ('EIA'), in addition to economic assessments, which will include a comprehensive financial model. Furthermore, formal discussions regarding a Power Purchase Agreement ('PPA') between Kibo and prospective off-takers of the BIPP have been initiated. Notably, discussions with, and formal letters of comfort already received from; various power supply off-takers have indicated an initial demand for up to approximately 150MW; thermal coal producers have stated a willingness and intent to discuss terms and conditions for the supply of thermal coal as a feedstock for the planned power plant. | bibdaddy
13/6/2018 09:35 | Maybe a question for Coetzee, if he ever does another "Monthly" Q&A | short6
13/6/2018 03:14 | ''Kibo are repositioning themselves as a pure energy company.'' Does not mean that they will not maintain strategic equity holdings with a view to raising funds at a later date e.g Katoro. | spooks4
12/6/2018 15:36 | Kibo are repositioning themselves as a pure energy company. So they're not interested in Haneti and imo will either sell (if they can) or relinquish the licence as they have with Morogoro and Pinewood. | short6

08/6/2018 05:56 | I would very surprised if Hanetti is worth 'just a few quid'. Initial thoughts are that Hanetti is worth far more than Katoro IPO at 6p with 58% held by Kibo I suspect Kibo will look to hold 51% plus and IPO at a far higher figure than Katoro. Why? because the mining commission will have worked out a commercial cost of intervention that allows a commercial return to be made by industry. Once this internal policy is ratified the real value of Katoro and others can be evaluated. | spooks4
07/6/2018 10:48 | MAB, I think you can forget about Haneti, Coetzee's only interested in coal to power projects. The best we can hope for is that he can sell it for a few quid. | short6
06/6/2018 17:32 | All good points... and as a shareholder here of 4 years, I've certainly felt the pain of delays. At the moment, we are at the final governmental hurdle. Once PPA and SML is sorted, then the project is purely in Kibo's hands and I have a feeling that finance will not be an issue, considering our partners and the opportunity. Perhaps the sudden JV spree focusing on Coal in Botswana and Tanzania is because there is an investor mandate/demand from somewhere and there are massive economies of scale to achieve if all undertaken concurrently. Again, all my own thoughts so do your own research.Time will tell... I also can't wait to develop Haneti... another beast that is likely to keep Kibo in my portfolio for another decade or two. | mohammedalibusiness
06/6/2018 17:22 | Whilst that is a 'sensible' idea, just look at how long it has taken to get here. If they operated like that we would be pushing up the daisies before we saw anything happening! | bungeetrader
06/6/2018 17:16 | MAB - I agree with all your comments & observations - however I really would like some meat on the bones of the MPCC, in fairness its dragging on a little bit too long at this stage - its starting to look like we are trying to run before we can walk - why not get the main project nailed down with GOT then LC and management can drive on to the next project safe in the knowledge that they have successfully delivered the MPCC, that they have a happy band of loyal shareholders whose patience has been rewarded and who will most probably support any future funding requirements for similar type projects coming down the tracks. | tom003

06/6/2018 16:58 | Today's news is very interesting.. the way it's looking to me is...There's a lot of money out there looking for investmentAfrica is a place of abundant resource, growing populations/needs but an absolute culture shock for money to enterKibo is positioning itself as the place that can marry up the money with African energy and mining opportunitiesAll my own opinion so do your own research | mohammedalibusiness
06/6/2018 13:11 | Lest we forget, just for the Chimp who has an IQ lower than my average of 3.97 Even more so with the new SEPCO deal and with PPA due, then bring on the SML.
