No wonder Louis Coetzee was pleased to get Kibo's Uranium project out of care and maintenance. South Africa could be a strong buyer of Uranium in the future, they hope to produce 9,300MW via nuclear energy by 2020. The uranium price has strengthened significantly recently. Market conditions have improved to such an extent that Oakbay Resources is raising R800 million ($74m) for a uranium mine in the NW of South Africa. The listing is tomorrow. This shows investor appetite for uranium is returning strongly. What market participants have overlooked is that Kibo Mining's Pinewood Songea Block is only 80km on trend from where the Mkuju River uranium deposit is located, a corporate buyout occurred there in 2011 where Mantra Resources was acquired by a Russian conglomerate for over $1 billion. It is hard to put a value on Kibo's Pinewood licence (which also contains gold and coal) it could be argued if this asset was self contained in a separately listed company it could be valued in excess of £5m even in it's early stage condition. Currently Kibo Mining PLC, lock stock and barrel, is only valued at £5m The investment proposition is compelling, even after recent upside. This licence has been totally over-looked by the market,

eye2 - there has been a disparity between the two exchanges for some considerable time, in fact, today is the closest it has been since I began tracking it.

There are not a lot of trades on the JSE, but I expect it will grow as the 'game changing' news is released.
