Yes, Ovoca (OVB) which is also Dublin registered has already convened an EGM to address this situation. The EGM document arrived Wednesday. I've messaged brokers ii about it but not had a reply yet. Presumably this Crest problem will apply to all UK held shares of EU companies.

This mornings RNS is unhelpful to sentiment. Whilst it's just an issue around redirecting various things because of Brexit, it comes across as terribly unnecessarily existential, which of course it is not. Advisors are paid to do this stuff and in this instance its very poor indeed.

Only Irish/EU companies are affected, as far I know. As EU doesn't recognise UK based share trading and settlement

I am surprised CREST haven't set up a shop in EU. Most other fin institutions I know have done so
