great find. Makes a lot of sense for Botswana who is spending 1bln a year on petrol to produce itself from its abundant coal resources.

I am sure the government would love it too - employment, innovation and lots of tax! And save on foreign currency.

Yaki, just shows what sad individuals frequent these boards, bored with nothing else to do. Tragic really.
Meanwhile this is interesting:

Just chucking a round number out there. E.g. £600k of unpaid salaries at 0.6p = 100m. Maybe it will only be 75m. Either way I don’t like it when we have watched the share price under their management drop from 5p when most LTH bought to a tenth of that. Taking shares now would be cynical.

Cj41 from where did you get the “100m shares in lieu of salary”?

My view is that it would be a very good development:
-more skin in the game
-preserves cash
-they unlikely to sell at any rise like other potential s/hs

I am not keen on the idea of the directors receiving 100m shares in lieu of salary.

not sure it is the case. Last time directors were issued shares for unpaid fees/salaries wasn't rns-ed. And they were issued at 5p!

My understanding is that directors not being paid would require an immediate RNS. It’s not something which can be kept quiet.
