02/2/2019 20:36 | I am sure i seen they would not get all of the funds until final delivery of the 10,000 tons of ore hence why the directors stepped in so may not need a placing. | robizm
02/2/2019 15:33 | Re. the expansion cost, depends if they have to go deeper to get bigger volumes of ore maybe? I also can't quite understand why the share price isn't at 0.8p - 1p. Are investors worried that the Togolese govt will not grant the mining licence, and maybe effectively steal the mine back for one of the dictator's cronies? I don't know Togo in great detail but I know that there's a total-control dynasty in power (similar to North Korea perhaps). Political risk must be high. Or are investors worried that the offtaker won't be satisfied? Or that a placing is due? The company's last interim results showed they were running on fumes, I'm not quite sure how they've avoided a placing since then? However their running costs appeared to have decreased substantially, so perhaps a small placing for say £300k wouldn't be disastrous, ie. approx. 3% dilution? | cyberbub
02/2/2019 07:42 | I can't help commenting on what is happening to the share price of Ironveld (IRON) on its bulk sampling news, which is not as advanced as KRS (I have been waiting for IRON to get its act together for even longer than KRS (FRX)). The difference with IRON is it has the mining permits. That is what KRS need and then things must surely happen with the share price zhockey, KRS may elect to spend a bit more, but the capital costs of what they have now were less than $1 so to triple production surely would need only $2m max. | rec0very stock
01/2/2019 14:10 | Surely that would warrant over 1p alone? With the potential to triple production for only circa $15M investment. | zhockey
01/2/2019 13:24 | I make it around $7.5M based on 85% share, Mn $5/DMTU, costs $2/DMTU and grade of 41% | zhockey
01/2/2019 12:37 | Yes I'm looking into it thanks. Looks like a good profit margin at current prices. | cyberbub

01/2/2019 10:59 | Greatfull Dead, $13M revenue, but what's the anticipated profit margin? Thanks for any info. | cyberbub

31/1/2019 13:42 | Question to those who have done very serious research of KRS. Now that the 10,000-tonne bulk sampling metallurgical test-work program is in full flow, how long will KRS take to full open pit mining? ATB, GD | greatfull dead
30/1/2019 13:12 | Conclusion. The verification of the quality of the ore and the trucking of ore in preparation for export is reducing the risk profile of Keras. We expect Keras to potentially sell around $13m worth of manganese concentrate a year from the Nayega mine using current infrastructure assuming the sale of around 6,000t a month. 30/1/2019 07:25 | Keras Resources plc / Index: AIM / Epic: KRS / Sector: Mining 30 January 2019 Keras Resources plc ('Keras' or the 'Company') First Ore Trucked to Port from Nayega Manganese Project Keras Resources plc, the AIM listed mineral resource company, is pleased to announce that it has commenced the trucking of processed ore from its 10,000-tonne bulk sampling metallurgical testwork programme at the Nayega Manganese ('Mn') Project in northern Togo ('Nayega' or 'the Project'). This demonstrates Keras' progression into the next stage of development at Nayega. Highlights · Trucked ore now being stockpiled at secure site adjacent to the deep-water port of Lomé · Steady-state production levels of 230 saleable tonnes per day achieved through recently commissioned scrubber plant - 4 shifts operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week · Peak haulage of 12 trucks or 420 tonnes per day expected by 31 January 2019 · Installed capacity to produce circa. 6,500 tonnes per month of +35% Mn ore at Nayega Russell Lamming, Chief Executive Officer of Keras, commented, "I am delighted to announce that the trucking of processed ore at Nayega began at the weekend, with peak haulage of 12 trucks or 420 tonnes per day expected by 31 January 2019. Currently, the ore is being stockpiled at a secure site close to the Lomé deep-water port in Togo and will be transferred to the bulk material wharf when shipping commences in late February 2019. In addition, the scrubber plant has now reached the steady-state production of 230 saleable tonnes per day, operating in four shifts, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. "The continued success of the bulk sampling programme has underpinned the significant value that we attribute to Nayega; we believe the Project will form the cornerstone of Keras' manganese business moving forward. The Company has had an exciting start to the year with pivotal news already released and hopefully more good news on the horizon. We look forward to providing further updates on our progress at the operation." | cpap man

16/1/2019 21:17 | RS, RL's last sentence was quite telling I hope. In any case, Nayega is valued at less than zero presently. | zhockey
16/1/2019 18:35 | The elephant in the room, which is not mentioned in the RNS or by share price Angel is will KRS get a production licence? Being technically able to produce 6.5 Kt/m right now is great, but only if they are allowed to. I can't see why the offtaker would not go for a longer term offtake deal. Hopefully the Togo Govt will see that shutting the whole thing down at the end of the bulk sample does nobody any good and will at least allow the operations to carry on as is, but ideally we want 250Kt/a | rec0very stock
16/1/2019 13:07 | Afternoon Stockriser, My family are well, thanks. Hope your family are well too. Your holding here will IMHO give you a good profit. I will message you soon so we can can catch up. I am very busy on the house front. ATB, GD | greatfull dead
16/1/2019 11:38 | Morning GD - so glad you pointed me in this direction over a year ago. Slowly been building a significant (for me) holding here since then. Hope you and the family are well - catchup soon perhaps. | stockriser

16/1/2019 10:20 | Keras Resources* (KRS LN) 0.38p, Mkt Cap £8.6m – High-grade manganese ore looks good for Keras cash flow BUY, Target price 1.04p CLICK FOR FULL NOTE PDF Keras Resources report positive assays from their 10,000t bulk sample taken in Togo, West Africa. The team report average manganese grades of 41.15% exceeding expectations. Grades range from 39.61-42.76% showing a remarkable consistency of manganese material. The assays are reported to have also exceeded the specifications of the specialist manganese alloy producer / offtaker. Keras is able to produce some 6,500t per month with its existing setup though this is over our assumed production rate of around 6,000t per month in our modelling. Manganese ore prices are reported to be 5.7% lower last Friday by Fastmarkets MB at $5.76/DMT for 37% manganese ore due to weak downstream demand in China Prices peaked in March last year at $8.21/DMT having risen through Q1 on strong demand. Conclusion: The assay of higher than expected manganese ore grades is good for ongoing offtake demand and for premiums on the standard 37% manganese price *SP Angel act as Nomad and broker to Keras Resources | cpap man
16/1/2019 09:59 | Thanks for the info Ed, must admit, despite being in FRX/KRS since 2012, my memory is not as good as yours! Despite the price falling the back end of 2018, this report sees manganese steadily rising throughout 2019 with further larger increases through to 2025. The report also explains it’s reasoning behind their pricing forecast, an interesting read.... | andylee3 |
