05/8/2012 13:20 | Just doing some more background on this, and so far established the following: - cash shell created from the ashes of MSS - set up and headed by Paul Redmond (LDP etc) - £500k raised with Rivington through placing at 0.02p - website expected soon (www.kvplc.com) - expectation of an investment soon (possibly following the LDP model, probably in the natural resources sector This does present so far as one of those high-risk opportunities than only comes along once in a while, with the potential for big returns. I have noticed how the volume has suddenly grown over the past week - assumably on the expectation of news. The Redmond factor is a draw for me. Anything I have missed? I'll be very interested to see how this plays out next week - it seems to be under the radar at the moment. Thoughts most welcome. | ![]() hjfe
03/8/2012 19:16 | Steady performance this week, with rising volume. Hopefully a website soon will provide some further insight into Redmond's plans - I imagine this is a "son of LDP" scenario. Could see the share price make a move forward next week as more PIs want in - seems to be getting on a few watch lists now. GL to all those that are in - perhaps the days of sub .05p are going to be gone forever soon. I suspect we could get an announcement sooner rather than later. | ![]() hjfe
03/8/2012 14:32 | Agree 0.20p is a short term target, albeit with an imminent aquisition, we could easily see a value nearer 0.50p i.e a 10 bagger. Not for widows or orphans, but an extremely good punt for those willing.Happy days ahead for me. | ![]() smraynot
03/8/2012 09:42 | Thanks. I stand corrected. So Riv only acted as broker for ii clients. Still a win-win situation. Those investors know they are onto a good thing. a) They can sell at 0.05 to more than double their money b) They can hold for further gains pre-acquisition Any idea who took the 2.5bn? | ![]() dr rosso
02/8/2012 20:52 | Rosso you are completely wrong .Riv had no shares for themselves .They were placed within the mkt into relatively strong hands .They are sitting tight awaiting fresh developments . | ![]() fund55
02/8/2012 20:27 | I assumed that Riv put the £500k and took all of the 2.5bn shares for themselves. If they are now starting to dispose of them eg 15m sells at 0.04p, they are following an identical path to Leed and getting out with double their money. Someone is obv keen to take a large amount ahead of a proposed acquisition. The Co. doesnt have much cash after clearing the shell debts, but in this econ climate a little cash picks up a substantial interest in a resource. Not sure what price Nick Lee of Viridas paid to take the 600m Leed shares off Riv. Both Cos doubled their money and more. You scratch my back, sort of thing. Riv rescued Leed with £220k, and took 2.2bn new shares at 0.1p. 600m were offloaded to VIR who then cashed them in at 0.48p by selling to a Singapore group. VIR 6x bagged their investment within the space of a few weeks. | ![]() dr rosso
02/8/2012 17:41 | Highly speculative punt here IMHO, not for orphans & widows or the faint-hearted. Rivington are obviously disposing but a lot of stock has changed hands recently. The obvious is what is fair valuation ahead of the aforementioned deal in the pipeline? 0.2p would imply a valuation of approx £5.4mil based on circa 2.7billion shares in issue, but does not take into account any further consideration shares which may be issued. Dr Rosso, I think VIR 6 bagged on their investment in LDP & still hold a stack of warrants. Watching with interest, no doubt all will be revealed soon. :-) | charmer1_23
02/8/2012 17:25 | Some intermediary here looks to be taking the shares off Riv for 0.04p with a view to disposing of them for considerably more pre-acquisition or on acquisition of a resource asset. | ![]() dr rosso
02/8/2012 16:54 | Aha. Rivington Street Corporate Finance Limited has conditionally raised £500,000 before expenses by way of a subscription for 2,500,000,000 New Ordinary Shares at a price of £0.0002 per share. The Placing is conditional on admission of the Placing Shares to trading on AIM. Yup, it`ll be Riv disposing, exactly as they did with LDP. 0.0002p shares going for 0.04p, nice work ahead of acquisition and leave some profit in for the next bloke. Correction. 2.5bn shares for £500k = 0.02p per share. Rivington disposing at 0.04p is exactly the same money-doubler they pulled off with Leed. The intermediary there was Nick Lee and he too more than doubled the VIR investment by selling 600m to U/C for 0.48p. Riv 0.1p - VIR 0.2p - Uhu 0.48p. | ![]() dr rosso
02/8/2012 16:41 | Good tight close finishing .046/.048 Good volume today . Wondering whether there will be any overnight press comment | ![]() fund55
02/8/2012 16:25 | Acquisition imminent. Mining jv, poss S America. Not a takeover. Not connected to LDP. | ![]() dr rosso
02/8/2012 16:16 | What have you heard then something must be in the pipe line as this has had some volume today? | ![]() mistermagoo3
02/8/2012 16:14 | Not surprising. Mr £2k punter picks up a cool 4m shares. Hearing that something is being lined up. Asia asset, prob in Singapore? Could easily be another LDP-type 5x bagger on rumours building. 0.2p would still mean only valued at £11m, I think. | ![]() dr rosso
02/8/2012 15:36 | Massive volume | ![]() knowing
02/8/2012 15:30 | Few big buys n this today! | ![]() mistermagoo3
30/7/2012 04:05 | Get your facts right White .For most of friday there was a tight spread .Look at the real mkt not the price on advfn .spreads were around .002 . | ![]() fund55
29/7/2012 12:59 | A large amount of shares have not been traded. What percentage is 114 million of 2.7 billion. Of course there is talk of a deal to come. This is a shell company if no deal comes within ten months the shares will be cancelled. That's the AIM regulations. The live issue here is whether any value will ever be attributed to shareholders other than the wild MM swings encouraged to entice buyers. Sixty-six percent spread on the share price FFS. | ![]() pwhite73
29/7/2012 01:55 | What a ridiculous statement from white73. how can something be a mm scam when a large amount of shares trade . the talk was that there is a deal coming soon . Time will tell . | ![]() fund55
28/7/2012 08:55 | SHOOOOSH I hope not too many people have been taken in by this MM scam. Just remember 2.7 billion shares in issue with about £300k cash. Its sole purpose for being listed is to suck in small private investor money. | ![]() pwhite73
20/7/2012 13:26 | Correction the placing was at 0.02p not 0.2p as I originally stated. | ![]() pwhite73
20/7/2012 12:33 | Shares were actually placed at 0.02p, so an overhang may weigh for a while: Placing The Company is also pleased to announce that as a consequence of the approval of the resolutions at the General Meeting, Rivington Street Corporate Finance, the Company's brokers, completed a placing of 2,500,000,000 new ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 0.02p (raising GBP500,000 before expenses). | charmer1_23
20/7/2012 12:22 | Placing at .2 and now .036 LOL. How much is a listing worth ? | ![]() knowing |
