RNS Number 7564B.  The number of New Warrants for which application is made is
4,257,057 and not 4,257,420 as previously stated.  All other information remains
unchanged.  The full amended text appears below.



                         BROCHURE OF PARTICULARS

              Kenmare Resources plc ("Kenmare" or "the Company"))



Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the UK Listing
Authority for 17,029,680 Ordinary Shares of nominal value Euro0.06 each in the
capital of Kenmare ("Shares") and for 4,257,057 Warrants ("New Warrants") to be
admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to the Official
List of the Irish Stock Exchange and application has been made to the London
Stock Exchange for these Shares and New Warrants to be admitted to trading. Such
admission is expected to become effective and dealings to commence in these
Shares and New Warrants at the start of business on 12 August, 2004.



These Shares and New Warrants are being issued as part of the Supplemental
Placing referred to in the listing particulars issued by the Company dated 21
June, 2004 ("Listing Particulars"). The Shares and New Warrants are being issued
on the same terms as those issued under the Placing and Open Offer described in
the Listing Particulars. Following this issue, the number of Ordinary Shares in
issue in the Company is 579,288,545 and the number of New Warrants in issue is
72,716,992.
