Initial thought was sell but would seem a very good sell price given the size.

That trade is right smack bang in the middle of most trades today. Difficult one to call, but what ever it was, it's in the price now. Come on harry let us know what's going on, give us a new deadline.

Must be a worked buy at that price, surely?

Wasn't watching it closely enough to at the close to see if it was a buy or a sell.

Well is it’s a guessing game as usual. Have the jobs advertised, the update on capital structure page, the newspaper article and the quicker responses on the kefi QA page and TW confidence they all suggest deal not too far away.

Depends on how much the timing is in hands of the bureaucrats and any last minute hitches. Good timing for Kefi might be just before the quarterly webinar and Africa down under conference.

Or it might have got to the stage where everyone just wants it done and news might drop before hand especially as they will be wary of news being leaked.

Addis weather is not much different from ours at the moment, Tops, so I think that the rainy season is in progress - they have to fill the dam anyway.

Your weather might be different from ours.

Katsy - I don't think that Kefi is the only foreign company to have difficulty in dealing with local interests in that continent. Many have fallen by the wayside but others have been lined up to take their place. Even the mighty Barrick goes out of its way to involve local interests - for instance:

I have not ticked you down and I don't think that I can anyway.

HAA has had some successes, such as funding the working capital requirement using Kefi shares to be priced post commencement of production. He also succeeded in getting the senior debt banks to increase the facility offered from $110m to $140m.

I am not less frustrated at the delays than you - just more weather-worn.

Get to 60m, or even 16m, and we might awake from our slumber Rich1e.

That at least would be around 1-3% of issued share capital moving about, and given what options and the rest are in the pipeline to pay for this extended renegotiation (and what else would you call this delay?) period on terms, even less than that!

We only need rainy season to rear its head again for the delays to have this year's full set...

Presumably it is as all over the place in Ethiopia as most other places these days, so maybe our mountain will flood ;)

Volumes are poor once again, we were at 6 million this time last Tuesday morning. Admittedly an exception for recent times

Whoever ticked me down, please reason to me then, why this man never detailed all the checks and sign offs we had to go through that he has outlined on every missed deadline. He would've known this from early on. Tell us FFS instead of giving us deadlines he knew can't be met because due to minister or bank had to do something first.

How does a CEO get it so wrong with every forecast and timeline. He must've known last October that this deal had to jump through so many hoops. I can only conclude that this man is really disingenuous.

Lol Rio, 5p is what I'll be happy with as far as TK financing gets us and, assuming there is no follow up share issuance or new consolidation.

Both are impossible not to imagine so anything above 5p is unrealistic, although, knowing how AIM can go, perfectly possible in the short term mania that final funding brings.

My break even, for all time is 22p. I have not averaged down as I couldn't afford to having believed too much of the propaganda here and at Kefi HQ from far too early. Those who have been able to risk more have yet to be rewarded too, so as it stands I am sanguine but still of the attitude 'I'll believe it when I see it'.

The one thing I have learned is AIM shares almost never re-visit old highs. People think they do, but usually that is after shares in issue and other structural changes have been applied to make it look that way.

So yes, 5p and a loss will be a relief. And, given all I've said, I'm wondering even about that...this needs until the end of the year and by then we could be in deep trouble.

But I'm still waiting and hoping...for a miracle, or even a 'Mirage' - yes, yet another Presley ditty.

1deedee - close with 'Three Gold Coins In The Fountain', but it was in fact that other, even earlier, 20th century pop icon Sinatra. Now if you'd said 'Golden Coins' you'd have hit another Elvis track from an even cornier mid-60s Hollywood romp. They sure don't make 'em like that any more! Lol

Nah Rio, 5p topslice as life is too short. The rest at 12p, maybe as waiting for Hawiah then becomes bearable...

And did you know you quoted two Elvis titles in your post? 'Just a little bit' was an Elvis track too.

Thank you, thank you very much.
