Someone on twitter saying Kefi may get a mention in weekend press, that would surely get some attention to a wider audience.

From q and a section Kefi website (not my question)

How is COVID impacting KEFI people getting their work done?
Australian and Ethiopian life is almost normal other than travel restrictions.

We lock down people, sites and offices from time-to-time and have cumbersome travel arrangements. But we have stepped up delegation to KEFI personnel and work is can be progressed around the clock by our people being in different time zones.

Hardly surprising the price of Copper is escalating, and will surely do so for the foreseeable future IMO. To virtually totally electrify the world (and that seems to be the sensible aim). is going to take mountains of Copper to achieve. What with that, and the associated demand for PGMs in Fuel Cells, JLP/Kefi are ideally placed to become big companies The world, truly is, their oyster..

Hi Tops, I agree and I disagree (you'd expect nothing less)...these commodity super cycles typically last c10 years...given the fundamentals of immense trillions in MMT AND the huge new trend to renewables/electric I am convinced PGMs/copper etc are on the cusp of a major bull market...possibly as big as 1970s bull.On Kefi, yes we LTIs have been badly burned in the past..but the future looks immensely promising..the assets are there..we just need to get the mines built

Belfast, BofA, I think it was, gave a copper price prediction for the next twelve months of $10,000...

I would rather it went up than stayed the same or the opposite.

But I'd rather it was happening to gold. Copper is not going to be dug up by us in big amounts until mid-2020s at the earliest, and even super-cycles can wane.

I wouldn't stand by any Wall Street prediction either, but I thought I'd add it into the mix.

As for patient to impatient, Odey got very impatient, as did Standard Life. I think they made the right call, especially if they were inclined to now resume investing in Kefi. Mind you, Odey himself is apparently/allegedly a sleeze and is in court for it, so maybe best we don't have him around.

Excellent to see 5m+ Kefi shares in one trade move from weak to strong hands....and good to see Harry sounding confident on closure of TKGM funding (before end March) & renewal of KSA licenses etc in most recent mining interview ....let's hope his confidence is realised.

And importantly KEFIs Hawiah asset in Saudi is already considered a World Class Cooper asset with still much more exploration area to uncover. Would be great to get Saudi news soon - as this would provide a higher share price price platform from which to immediately rise 2x or 3x on the long awaited and expected TULU KAPI funding closure.

Wasn't suggesting it does need it...I was simply making the point that it is HIGHLY likely the price of copper will surge to record levels in the years ahead sooooo...anyone with a BIG copper mine should do very well....every dollar increase in prices increases value, reserves and resources If you read my BB posts you will see I am an LTI with a huge investment here & happy to hold longer term.

I see Warren Buffet has closed the Berkshire stake in Barrick just a few months after they bought in.I wonder what his thinking was behind that?

belfastboy,

Actually with very high grades of copper Kefi should do very well; without ANY increase in prices or demand.

Of course they will do even better with the increases you suggest.

But I would hate anyone to think Kefi NEEDS these increases!

Apparently Glencore CEO just did a recent market presentation..which has 2 great slides...1. Showing Copper future/new projects at major low (due to lack of investment over 10 years due to poor prices/ROI on capex)....2. To meet 2050 Carbon goals likely copper require MTA's will have to double or more to meet demandSo low supply + huge increase demand = Kefi should do very well

Just another weak hand folding and one presumes the 4m shares going to a strong hand that wants to hold for much higher prices ahead...assuming Harry/BOD deliver TKGM funding before end March and share price goes x2 or x3 on positive news then I would love to see the look on all the faces of those selling at 1.8/2.5p a share in last few months....patience will imho be richly rewarded here but time will tell I guess

Ok. Good to know. I didn't try that. I'm just a somewhat nervous buyer when I see the offer size like that. Anyway, another 250k added.
