18/1/2021 18:48 | Hmm not too sure Dean tbh. I know you could open a UK3S on HL. Am sure A J Belll have the same but regarding USA am not sure but will see if can find anything out. I've done mine just on my leverage account. Of course the fees are pretty bad but hey, hopefully market will pay for them. | theaviator
18/1/2021 18:44 | I've been short Dow now for six weeks. Phased but am determined to catch it. Yes, it's really bad and I think when happens could take years to recover. Markets are insane at the moment. Some days I just wonder what they waiting for but have a sneaky suspicion it may be Mr Biden ;) | theaviator
18/1/2021 17:26 | in fact this crash will be more like 1980, than 2008 | deanroberthunt
18/1/2021 17:17 | @Theaviator, yep, we're heading for 2008 all over again...in fact, it could be worse, US of A Debt to GDP is 135%! ..printing money at an even bigger rate, little or no velocity.... I've started a short ETP on the US Indices (#NASDAQ, S&P 500) as a hedge to my UK long positions in Metals & Oil....can't seem to get a short ETP on the DOW 30 with A J Bell, uless you know of one? tried DXD & SDOW, but they don't offer those. | deanroberthunt
18/1/2021 17:15 | I agree with the first part of your BB Aviator...short term gold/PGMs MAY fall to lower levels...1776 looks possible but i really don't see gold ever being $1000 ever again...given the sheer size of world debt, annual deficits & need to print more currency. US has to roll over 8 trillion existing borrowing this year PLUS prob. 3TN to 4TN new monetisation..."gold is money everything else is credit J.P Morgan | belfastboyo
18/1/2021 17:01 | Gold I'm actually predicting to test a few lows first then at a max 2200 before a crash to 1000. This would align with the 2008 crash which I suspect we are about to see a repeat of shortly. Some good debates between Schiff and Dent over this but let's just say Schiff hasn't been right about much. Many see bitcoin as the new digital gold which is having an effect in the metal.4k won't be seen for quite some time I suspect. | theaviator
18/1/2021 16:02 | Opened up 3LSI ETF this morning. | deanroberthunt
18/1/2021 15:58 | I get the feeling that now is not the time to sell. There is far too much potential upside for that so I am sitting patiently waiting for as long as it takes. | charles clore
18/1/2021 15:57 | Gold heading to $4000/troy oz, Silver $100/troy oz... Happy Hunting Folks. Love & Peace. | deanroberthunt
18/1/2021 15:19 | ...and in the U S of A, I predict a riot... | deanroberthunt
18/1/2021 15:18 | I predict 6p before the summer | deanroberthunt
18/1/2021 15:18 | Who won Taxloss? I hear Harry put a pony on the sloth. Probably helped slow it down though...a monkey would have been better :) Nice to see we're 15% down on the year already... Topicel | topicel
18/1/2021 14:42 | No just think the Saudis could encourage more foreign mining companies to apply for areas if they gave some areas to kefi/Artar. | robjm66
18/1/2021 13:02 | robjm - I remember we were told that our involvement with Artar was a huge advantage, becuase they were Saudi and because of their connections. Are you know saying that it would be more advantagous if we were foreign? | jlwilliams
18/1/2021 12:58 | I think that one of Aesop's lesser-known fables is more apt. It involves a three-legged tortoise & an arthritic sloth on tranquilizers. ;-) | taxlosstone
18/1/2021 12:32 | You are absolutely correct Rob...JQ has c700k AU Oz and is at surface so ideal for a very cheap "heap leech" mine...better still, KSA will offer cheap finance up to 75% dev. Costs so Kefi plc would only have to fund 34% of 25% of dev. Costs (eat 4/5m USD) and quick to build and get out of the ground...Hawiah mine dev. Costs will be measured in hundreds millions (although I assume 75/25 debt/equity would also apply here)... | belfastboyo
18/1/2021 12:15 | Dean be easier if/when they get Jibal Qutman back which could be during the next round of licences being granted in KSA, to use that as would be a lot cheaper to get off the ground. With Hawiah (Al-Hawiyeh) keeps getting bigger which is nice but would mean a bigger mine I would think. I trawled through the Saudi database on the mining site about 14 areas applied for through Abdul Rahman Saad Al-Rashid & Sons Co., (Ltd.)(Artar)for kefi. Seemed a real lack of foreign firms applying for areas unless they were doing it through intermediary's like Kefi. Case of Maaden Maaden Maaden…. Could be they are waiting to see what happens with Kefi. Jibal Qutman on page 15 (if seeing 30 applications a page) spelt Jedbeb Al-Qahtana I assume it is that one as licence area is the same. hxxps://mining.dmmr. Been a lot of articles from the Saudis basically saying the same thing trying to get foreign companies to apply for areas recently, but would be send a better signal to just give Kefi JQ back and some extra areas. | robjm66
18/1/2021 12:11 | A lot of sells between 11 and 11:35 today to bring it down. Now everyone buying again. Short term looking over sold now on hourly, the daily and weekly curled up nicely. Expecting a good afternoon and rest of the week, I agree with Dean re Weds | bashmore
18/1/2021 12:03 | Lots of understandable frustration on this BB. Lots of doubt as to progress being made (or not). Ultimately, we all chose to either sell, hold or buy & live with that decision. I continue to hold and buy as I chose to believe TKGM will manage financial closure Q1 2021 & PGMs & Copper are only at the start of a major bull market (short risk applies)..on positive news for TKGM and Hawiah drilling Kefi should be worth many multiples of current share price .. | belfastboyo
18/1/2021 11:43 | dean - stop using words like fast track, up and running, generate etc. Harry doesn't have those in his armoury of verbosity. I like your reference to one of Aesop's fables and hope Harry isn't writing his own version of a fable here. | digger2779
18/1/2021 10:47 | The charts reflect the waxing and waning of hope, expectation and then despair. | estseon
18/1/2021 10:35 | definitely, maybe | deanroberthunt
18/1/2021 10:16 | Not on my charts, maybe next Wednesday! | scars
18/1/2021 10:10 | Which Wednesday dean? | scars |
