15/12/2020 16:34 | Kefi has been allocated about 1,120 sq km to be awarded when funding is concluded. The early ones to watch will be the "24km of mineralised strike identified along two trends parallel to the Tulu Kapi Trend": Guji, Komto and Soyoma. "Initial target is to identify 300-500 koz Au at 1.5g/t as additional feed to the Tulu Kapi plant, or to be heap leached This could add ~50,000 oz pa to production at low cost" As things stand, because there is no prospective minority interest in these licences other than the government 5% statutory carry - but don't hold your breath - we've not seen the funding package yet - that additional 50k ozs / yr could be worth 95/65 = 73k ozs / yr added to TK production. Initially, TK will be 140k (the underground will add about 50k but that is not until year 3), so adding the initial production from those satellite deposits will increase total production attributable to us by 50% for the early years. | estseon
15/12/2020 16:18 | Who knows - may represent opportunities for us in the future, if we can prove we can get our first mine in the country up and running! | matthew stone
15/12/2020 15:59 | From positive energy lse kefi board though kefi would have rnsed if it was relevant and the mining minister would hardly visit say we expect to produce gold then cancel the licence... “I asked harry if we were effected in any way by the revoking of mining licenses.. Harrys response was no thats nothing to do with us... Always best to confirm these thing... But yes interesting article mach20 many thanks for pointing out.. Was released early hours this morning and another article appeared in last 15 minutes, thanks for coming here and posting” | robjm66
15/12/2020 15:50 | True - I may have read it too quickly and worried unnecessarily! Apologies... | matthew stone
15/12/2020 15:35 | Matthew Stone It's a bit pointless Kefi confirming that it has not breached rules relating to production at TK would you not think? | estseon
15/12/2020 14:08 | Look, anyone wants to ignore me or worse, fine, but this isn't a game and I'm not here to make friends. I'm hoping to raise the standard of discussion on my names on these basic message boards, so I don't have to constantly create private conversations on Twitter or Telegram and instead see if I can generate some useful dialogue here and try and teach small shareholders on how not to analyse a small company in the process. So here are a couple of useful rules; best everyone consider adopting them: 1. owning a share for a long period of time does not convey upon anyone any particular insight or even perspective, sufficient to elevate anything they write beyond the basic scrutiny around everything from simple facts to internal logic; ie., I don't give 2 fs if you've owned the shares since before the flood, you gotta know what you're talking about and/or what you write has to make sense; 2. having posted 500 of the same drivel every week for the better part of your 50s, likewise affords you exactly nil points in credibility and therefore respect. See no1 for more guidance here; 3. This is a prospective mining company focused on gold exploration in the 2nd- and developing-world. Therefore, knowledge of anything from in-country licensing laws, to resource updates, to financial reporting especially for early-stage miners, to gold price trends, etc are relevant to the care and feeding of Kefi and are thereby relevant discussion topics. Capital markets subjects like corporate governance (eg., the actual responsibilities of a board of directors in the UK or how NOMADs do and do not work) are also important but they are very specialised subjects and if your only experience in them is posting on a manky message board for a few years, you should probably steer clear from opining on them. And finally, I shouldn't need to say this, but having lost a lot of money owning the shares from (much) higher price levels is NOT A SPECIAL SKILL and therefore the pain and suffering you've experienced as a result, believe it or not, NEED NOT BE SHARED with a hundred strangers at every bloody opportunity. These silly message boards are - and aren't - a lot of things, but one thing everyone should be able to agree on is that they are not therapy sessions. Unfortunately, certain individuals need to be smacked on the nose once in a while to remind them of that, while others want to pretend that hanging out in the very armpit of social media in the hopes of making a quid or 2 is some kind of higher calling requiring protection of the 'spirit'. 15/12/2020 13:52 | No, I understood it very clearly. That RNS was the equivalent of a profit u/g for that company, not some kind of promotional flyer as Topical was implying. 'Harry' could not put out anything like that because he does not have that type of news to report and because the NOMAD would never permit it. As was...... | echoridge
15/12/2020 12:48 | Echoridge, I’m not sure that you understood Tops post. He was saying that rns was a good thing and that Harry should do similar for Kefi. Who is the ignorant keyboard warrior? | gdavies2
15/12/2020 12:10 | oh no, say it isn't so, nobody..... | echoridge
15/12/2020 11:57 | echoridge "you really are a five-alarm muppet, aren't you? What is it with ignorant keyboard warriors like you? Why are you never satisfied with others thinking you a moron? You just have to keep opening your big yap and proving it" Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. Only the third person in over 10 years that I've ever filtered & after such a short time of him posting too. I must be getting more intolerant as I get older. :-( echoridge filtered | taxlosstone
15/12/2020 11:43 | And just because one NOMAD allows a company to RNS something does not mean others will; perhaps the former was breaking the rules? Proof is a difficult concept. | goatherd
15/12/2020 11:36 | '.....There was a lot of tosh about NOMADs and what can and can’t be included in an RNS last week. Check out this one from NTOG today: It says little about anything other than “have you noticed the oil price is going up and we will be getting more cash flow”!.....' Topicel - you really are a five-alarm muppet, aren't you? Did you actually read this RNS, rather than just moving your lips? Its overly conversational sure, and their NOMAD is among the smallest out there, but it is absolutely full of useful - and bullish - guidance and the shares are up 6% in an otherwise pretty miserable market for micro-cap oil and gas names. What is it with ignorant keyboard warriors like you? Why are you never satisfied with others thinking you a moron? You just have to keep opening your big yap and proving it | echoridge
15/12/2020 10:49 | Was exceptional circumstances recently Topical would have been nice to have pictures of the visit but think all government ministers would have been under instruction to only say where they have been rather than where they are going. Actually good that he was touring the region looking at mining prospects as the Ethiopian government has been a little busy recently. | robjm66
