I suspect that you are right.

I nearly dumped the shares after the acquisition announcement back in December 2013 because I only half-believed what is now evident to be the hopelessly optimistic projection then of commencing production in 2016. I should have done so, transferred it to the watch list and bought bullion at £800/oz instead if I wanted a gold hedge, which I did. They have managed to miss their target by 6 years.

Charmer

I agree that the front line deserve applause for their commitment in the face of the chaotic mess created by the current organisation of the health service, which clearly requires a complete overhaul and dumping of the current inept administration. My indirect contribution has been a daughter who is a band 7 nurse. I do tire a bit when reading all the criticism of the government because the administration was devolved down decades ago. It appears that a higher degree of central control is required and that a lot of overpaid, fat, greasy bums on seats need to be shown the exit door.

I also feel that Hunt should take a lower profile because he was in charge when the health service failed to test its capability to handle a crisis such as has been faced over this year to date.

And the problem of infection contracted through use of all forms of mass transport, including aeroplanes, has simply been ignored. The airlines are paying dearly for their negligence but the greasy bums managing the railways, bus services and London Underground will doubtless escape sanction. All forms of mass transportation require proper ventilation and filtration of recycled air. The technology is available.

Q&A...

Q.is one to assume that ANS have been removed from the TK funding process

A. No. We expect ANS to proceed. They are sincere friends and deeply involved. These are unusual times and COVID-19 is wreaking havoc globally and we naturally need to protect the project with alternatives.

@philby1 - what makes you think that funding will arrive? It probably will not. This latest deal with RAB is just so that Harry can wring another few months £30k/mth salary from what was a totally broke company before it finally collapses.

Save your applause for the "real legends" tonight at 20:00 hrs. Without whom, we would be in serious trouble!

The initial funding payment is important as it will signal to the market a real intent to get on with the project after all the delays so far. It doesn't mean that all that follows will run smoothly of course but there will be a massive relief to many investors once they see that payment drop.

"could not ask for a more committed community and Government" except the money is never forthcoming and those that have promised this payment would be forthcoming to fall on their swords and give their salaries back.

Its no longer about the Initial Funding from ANS. Sure I keep quoting it to provide a focal point of Adams failures to exert a semblance of control over the project. The fact is, Adams himself tied the Final Closure to the Election that is NOW NOT HAPPENING. The BANKS varied the timing by adding in the provisio that 'safe and trouble free elections must be out of the way first' <-- words from the Q & A section on the Kefi Website.

We were hoodwinked by the lure of the first Tranche. Its been dangled that often and we focused on it because that is all we had. Now he moves the goalposts to October. A delaying tactic he has employed FOR THREE YEARS PLUS. First this, then that, then something else.

If the EG find some case of cash lying around in the halls of Ethiopian Politics and passes that case to Kefi and NOT to outstanding businesses and their own peoples requirements because Covid19, it will be a travesty toward the Ethiopian Population. THIS PROJECT will now go nowhere for this year AT LEAST.

So it's either ANS or the Ethiopian government to pony up the initial funding by 30 June at the latest. So not too long to wait, the funding could drop anytime between now and then.

plus you got weight of warrants and rab capital aint gonna risk all that money they will sell some stock

this stock shafted by that placin and all value gone out of it now

compare to other gold stocks and this already priced fairly at 0.7p

so 10% over priced now

i disagree

you cant use long term 1700oz - no company does that

on 1300oz long term entire project worth just £73m npv

no mining company worth more than 15% of npv before pruduction coz risky risky and kefi doesnt even have fundin sorted yet

1.5bln shares in issue x 0.7p = £10.5m market cap

15% of £73m = £10.5p cap

for every 50koz increase in gold base forecast, you get 1p rise

so this fully valued now after heavy dilution

it double in price when they get fundin sorted and development begin coz % of npv move to 20% to 25%.

this aint goin anywhere fast now until October

sell the spikes big time if you get the chance

"at the current gold price of US$1,700/oz, equating to GBP163 million, according to the Company's financial model prepared by its project finance adviser, is approximately 11 times the Company's current market capitalisation at yesterday's share price based on the proposed expanded issued capital."

No wonder the placing was massively oversubscribed.

Says everything The Company encourages investment in Company shares by the Board and Senior Management. They have, in aggregate, invested more into Company shares since KEFI took control of the Project in 2014 than they have, in aggregate, received as cash remuneration.

... Yes, and getting it wrong like the rest of the clueless members of the Harry fan club ... and now he is stuck like the rest of them!
... the article is labeled as a 'premium' artcle, so will have to pay to read his pearls of wisdom
... you would get more insightful comments from one of goatherder's goats :-)

cybaajak - it doesn't say but am assuming short term as he has been reporting on Kefi for years. I don't want to copy the whole article in case I get into strife. However you can register for ShareProphets and get to view 3 articles for free each month. I've never subscribed for the paid version.
I would be happy with 3.25p for starters but we all know targets are hard to achieve even more so in the current climate.
