I suspect Harry would love to have opened the mine years ago, but it is not within his power to do so without funding. Sadly, this is not within his control. He, and countless PIs, can whinge as much as they want, but, in the end, the EG and ANS control the purse strings. This time, things are slightly different, in that the EG have re-iterated, and confirmed, the time line openly. We can only hope that this time it comes to fruition.

I'm happy to be corrected, but I seem to remember HA being quite upset/annoyed when an interviewer described the convertible loans as death spiral financing. As might be expected the result has been just that. In this market a regular conversion completely distorts the normal supply and demand balance, especially with junior resource stocks being somewhat out of favour despite the rise in many of their primary metals.

If there is a light on the horizon it's probably the fact that fundamentally this looks very undervalued with assets both in Saudi Arabia and at Tulu Kapi, and even with the loan conversions investors will start to look at this and decide that it's simply too cheap.

I don't completely disagree with jaylett as the loan conversions do create a huge headwind, but at this level I'm no sure there is much more downside, and any good news could sharply re-rate them upwards. Still it's not for the faint hearted.

You pays your money and takes your chance.....

Sirs
Please explain the need for this endless dilution at ever lower prices? Can you not see what is happening to the share price as a result of these actions?!

Questions for Q&A page:
1) What specifically is this cash being used for?
2) Is there an immediate requirement for the cash, i.e. can the dilution not be slowed as it is clear the recipient is immediately flooding the market with sells which is destroying the share price and market sentiment.
3) Will this method of funding continue even after the ANS payment is completed?
4) Do you still feel this was the best method of raising cash given the death spiral nature of the financing? Were lessons not learned from Lanstead?
5) Does the share price concern you or do you not see it as being relevant?

My personal feeling is you are focused on opening a mine, but with zero regard for investors who have previously bought into the project. The magnitude of rise required for many to even break even at this point is gargantuan and increasing every day. I would hope there is some serious reflection taking place regarding the destruction of value that you have been responsible for. The time to deliver is well overdue.

Regards

You'd have to be demented to buy KEFI while millions of shares are being sold into the market in the opposite direction with such frequency. It is literal insanity because you are guaranteed to lose.

I keep saying the same thing over and over again; there is no logical reason to buy until (or if) ANS pay up their first tranche of funding, because the risk is just too high. I want to average down but I cannot justify it. Based on bitter experience I put the chances of funding being received this month at around 4/1 against.

Somethings afoot as the spread here is much larger than of late.....0.00775 to sell and 0.0088 to buy.
Probably a cunning trap before the latest confetti RNS is sprung.

Told ya something was afoot on Friday.
So Monday rolls along and we have .006833 to sell and .006971 to buy. You'd be feeling pretty sick if you'd bought in quantity on Friday to average down. Today wont be a bargain either. Come to think of it we the ordinary PI wont be getting a bargain anytime soon unless we can provide Harry with some alternative loan options at "non risk to us terms".

It must be the loan shark dumping again.

It is somewhat extraordinary that two matters that will have a material effect on my future comfort are due to be resolved this month: TK funding and Brexit.

At the 2016 AGM held shortly after the referendum, the Company said: "Kefi is poised to trigger its transformation from a pure exploration to a production company".

I wonder what odds I might have secured for a bet that both events, Brexit and that transformation, would happen in the same month 40 months later - it's almost biblical - wandering the desert for 40 months in despair and without hope.

That assumes that both are done, of course.

England might even take the world cup.

Thanks keelhauled,

Sure, he likes goading me. I used to agree with your diagnosis - but actually I don't now think he is a short. I think he has a touch of verbal diarrhea, has a limited memory, and doesn't think fully before he types. Other than that he may be perfect for all I know.

I do think he is a long term, albeit very reluctant, holder.

The very least HAA should do is get the funding RNS ASAP there is absolutely no reason to hold off until the very end of october.

As I've said I doubt funding will come through this month. It will come but that will be after the PIs have bailed and those pigs in the trough in the know will profit massively, not PIs

I am genuinely curious as to the benefit to the share price the ANS funding will be..If the funds arrive, will the share price recover somewhat or will investor sceptiscism evaporate to non existent benefit. The dilution will STILL continue, KEFI still need to line HAA & BoD pockets + lights on..

Mind you, the BID is now equal to the placing...
Let's see what volume we'll get now.
I am a buyer at the BID price!

Which is 7.4% lower than the ASK.
Interesting day.
