11/5/2023 09:58 | It has been stated on here for years now that the only thing that moves the price is hard finance being transferred and spent, with evidence of mine construction starting. No one is interested in agreements, however 'final'. The boy has cried wolf too many times and the CEO is a liar / imbecile (delete as appropriate). | jaylett
11/5/2023 09:48 | My fellow investors am I being a little bit naive, I've been invested in Kefi for a whileAnd have been waiting forever It seems for this to turn a corner i.e. confirmation of funds to build the mine and now they have this ! nothing! I really expected the share price to at least double And now, looking at the volumes it looks like no one is interested | christopher logsdon

11/5/2023 09:10 | (Really really off topic) Goatherd it more a case of worries about local banks not being able to compete however "He told a group of investors, “we share the draft document not only with the local banking industry but also with international financial institutions with a plan to invest in Ethiopia.” He said he would be “more than happy” to get feedbacks from the international investors." African banks? "Officials at the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) expect drafting process of the legal frameworks that would allow foreign competition enter the banking sector to be completed within two months." So June with this soon to be in place obviously condition three "Condition number three was that (the usual) banking restrictions were lifted so we had international control of our own funds flow and bank accounts, without any restrictions." Should not be a problem as if you have international banks operation freely you are going to have funds flowing freely. | robjm66
11/5/2023 08:20 | No problem. | james japp

10/5/2023 14:19 | Tops, I do wish you would try and get your facts right before you pontificate. "Goatie, you do realise that it would look mighty odd if Harry didn't participate in special discounted share issues? Most of which we don't get a look in on." I am not aware of us EVER having got a look in. Of course it would look a bit odd - but what's that got to do with the price of cabbages? "A leader who really was super-confident would plonk down a good part of his not inconsiderable income derived from Kefi and buy openly on the back of many of his pronouncements that we will be producing 'imminently'." Your opinion. He does spend most (perhaps even all) of his after-tax income on buying placing shares. I think that makes him super-confident. Even though a purist would say it is a bit foolish. "As I've explained many times, shares bought prior to consolidation of 1:17 are probably only good for papering the water closet.." That is your opinion again NOT fact. I disagree. | goatherd
10/5/2023 14:04 | Does it matter if Harry doesn't want to sell before he's milked this thing dry long enough? We all have our price perhaps, but many here, including the thread owner, would not wish to sell out for, say, 4p, or whatever might do it. I think Harry wants to prove he can do it, build a 'legacy' and all that tosh. Goatie, you do realise that it would look mighty odd if Harry didn't participate in special discounted share issues? Most of which we don't get a look in on. A leader who really was super-confident would plonk down a good part of his not inconsiderable income derived from Kefi and buy openly on the back of many of his pronouncements that we will be producing 'imminently'. James Japp seems to understand that logic, even if you two don't exactly get along because, logic is exactly what it is. Harry is not exactly going over the trenches first loaded with 300k a year and 'x'-amount of consultancy fees stuffed in his pockets and a fraction of that in current value in shares. As I've explained many times, shares bought prior to consolidation of 1:17 are probably only good for papering the water closet... | topicel
10/5/2023 13:11 | Barrick could bring plenty of money and muscle to the table and now they have a link up with Madden depends if Artar are interested. Newmont would be a better fit for kefis Ethiopian side. Then if Barrick gobbled kefi up could Artar do anything about it? Probably be worth it for Barrick just to take a competitor of the table in the KSA. Apart from that a possible JV partner there? | robjm66
10/5/2023 12:58 | Barrick have been active in KSA for years. The big miners have been 'buying-into' projects of smaller companies by providing exploration and development capital. I think TK to be too small for Barrick but possibly not too small for Centamin. I doubt that ARTAR could stomach dealing with the arrogance and bullying of Barrick. | estseon
10/5/2023 12:12 | Its come to my attention I might be being too subtle with my posting and certain people need to be spoon fed. For example Relevance one. Barrick active in Saudi and competing for a licence Artar are going after. Relevance two. Times article the other day talking about Barrick and takeovers now an article talking about how miners should not be put of investing in operations in Africa and talking about M @ A again. So Saudi and Africa Mergers and Takeovers. Relevance three. “There are some big companies doing M&A because no-one has invested in exploration. We have got growing demand and higher commodity prices because we are in that next phase of the supercycle where you get inflation and money becomes expensive,” he said." That mining is in a Supercycle..and big miners have not done enough exploration s will be forced to takeover smaller companies with good exploration prospects. | robjm66
10/5/2023 08:51 | 1921 BOL! That has to be up there with one of your best worst posts ever. | james japp
10/5/2023 08:49 | ROB! For goodness sake, please post something utterly meaningless about some random event happening in Africa, the Middle east or about gold prices. There must be a distraction, anything! | james japp |
