I suggest you read what i actually wrote. Your comprehension of the written word leaves a little to be desired it seems.

My children/grandchildren will, I'm sure, be grateful for whatever passes to them on my demise. However, I hope that I am forced to improve my knowledge of Inheritance Tax in the not too distant future. I am not rich, and never wished to be so. If it happens, it happens.

As for your comment which originated this discussion, you asked the the question 'Who here wouldn't.......'. My response was purely a natural one, and not intended to cause controversy. My sentiments regarding bitcoin are totally unaffected by their worth. Just not interested.

Aviator Goldman Sachs the vampire squid will sell anything there’s any demand for temporary or not, PayPal will hedge its bets and will happily go along with the central bank coinage when it comes along EBay ditto. As for the Davos crowd they are already getting ready for universal basic income you think they are going to sort through the thousands of digital currencies and pick one, no they will go with central bank currencies as they are all about control even when it’s not possible or advantageous to control something.

Agree that things are in crisis and only going to get worse buts that’s when government and banks can get away with more as “emergency measures”.
P.s respect your opinion as well just you are not as cynical as me yet!

Tops,

It seems as if you may always use hindsight when planning investments - is that correct?

And a solar flare of them pesky Russians dropping a leccy bomb? What then Belfast?

The governments will run it and run us all at the same time. Not for me, but I can't stop it. Anyway, I'm a Kefi investor so I'll pay for everything with those shares...

The kids will be pleased ;)

How does paying for something with crypto work. Does the price of goods and services fluctuate on a daily basis, or do you pay 20% more today as currency falls than you did yesterday?

Rob, they will adopt and ARE adopting as they realise it's actually the future - this is the thing. I have utmost respect for your posts and views but to to state so confidently they will pull the rug imho is not only very short sighted but unwise. Keynes in effect had a100 year plan that has run out. Davos have now set the agenda for the crypto roll in quite fervently. Why would PayPal, Goldman and eBay be adopting? The banks are crooked and failing as is the government rhetoric and agenda. Debt crisis is an understatement. This is nothing new but more and more obvious as the weeks run by Crypto will eventually stabilize the world not hinder. By the time my youngest children are adults everything will be crypto phone payments. The banks and governments will adopt but will have missed the large gains early. We are still very early in the space. Remember the dotcom bubble and the comoaniest that survives after. Namely Amazon! Internet 2.0 enabling easy and secure payments equals no brainer

I will continue to hold as we are I hope no more than a few weeks away from potentially transformational news...which if it happens will see Kefi multibag quickly imho...of course to do so will require Kefi/Harry/BOD to finally deliver and regrettably his/their track record is poor...still I see it as a good asymmetric bet with huge potential upside versus limited downside even if further slightly delayed

Guess I am getting old so do not understand everything tech based automatically so I can understand someone not investing in something they know nothing about. However understand banks and governments more and they will eventually pull the rug out from Bitcoin and other digital currencies as they do not want the competition. Weaker their own currencies become the more incentive they are going to have to do so.

Probably has not been that urgent up to now as it has been useful for them to absorb money that would otherwise go into gold and silver. Also digital currencies have paved the way for central bank digital currencies. How often if the the chance of more control is dangled in front of banks and governments do they turn the chance down?

Tops,

When did I say "selling at 1.3p old money in 2017 would be a mistake!"?

Not recently I am sure!

Lol, don't talk in riddles Goatie.

Wtf does it matter what I think? And anyway, I said "any Government worth its salt" meaning, de facto, that they are worthy of our trust as a government.

But you think that too, obviously, or else you are one weird investor!

So go on then, what do YOU think of the EG? Do you not think they are up to scratch and that, therefore, you are concerned that Harry hasn't been very good at reading them all along - or ignored his doubts and just took a chance with them and our investment at TK?

One day you'll make sense. Don't sell at 1.3p old money indeed... ;)
