bashmore, I’m not hung up on October and the next ten days. I’ve praised Harry, on here, for the last RNS’s for delivering the promised news within their promised time scale. Now I’m focused on “The focus remains on continuing offsite development activities, the closing of the full Project funding package in October 2020”. As per one month ago 22 Sept. The theme behind all the naysayers is about a historical failure to deliver on promises. That’s why I’ve praised them when they’ve got it right.
I’m hoping for good news in 20 minutes time.

Why are some people so hung up on October and the next 10 days. If we get an RNS great, if it's in November fine.

We all know something is happening, not worth panicking over a week or two.

Let's see the share price build again towards news. Those that are in can see it's going over 3 soon.

So we are all hoping funding gets closed this month , well Harry needs to make sure it is. But as a back up, like for the previous years i will come back in 2021 and say Harry needs to close the funding this month. Not easy has it been for any one here. Seen NCYT go from 7p to 1000p, 12k would have been worth over a million pounds there.

I don’t think that there’s room in the share price for any delays. Recent RNS’s, podcasts, webinars, have given no indication of any slippage in the timescale. They’ve got to learn to under promise and over deliver, not the other way around. Any tanking of the share price wouldn’t be an underestimation of what it takes to get a mine up and running more a reflection of the inability to stick to timescales you promised two weeks previous.

I agree Rio...I hope we will see final closure this month (and I still believe that the odds of this are good) but if that does not happen (for COVID or whatever finalisation issue/last minute changes etc) then it will happen fairly shortly after..so as a LTI I will wait with patience until it happens one way or another as I believe it will AND I find the current valuation fundamentally absurd (too low).

I find it unlikely that any LTIs on this board believe the final project financial closure will happen by end of October. All that sentiment is factored in. Yes it would be a nice to have but I really can not see how the share price would crumble because a week or two of African delay. This is to be the largest net revenue exporter for the fastest growing economy on the planet. If it does, I will be buying in spades

Katsy, if you don't think a mine will get built here, then why would you invest in Kefi? Btw we have spent as shareholders 60m USD in getting Kefi to this point...I own shares in this gold and copper miner who is in the very final stages of raising finance to build said mine...if I had any doubts this was not going to happen I'd sell....I don't have any such doubts

Gold at $1928 and Copper at $3.18/Pound and moving up...dollar moving down...trillions more MMT (magic money tree) printing on its way...sooner than later..God I wish I owned a big share in a Gold and Copper mine...oh wait I do ?

No one leaves billions of USD in the ground with rising commodity and gold prices very long...I'm 100% confident the funding will get sorted sooner than later...we'd all prefer sooner of course...and I will be very disappointed if the Oct. deadline is missed BUT I personally as a very large LTH would never sell at these absurdly low prices...I have the patience to wait until the market reflects true/real value

Not sure I agree with "it doesn’t really matter how much it’s worth" - surely the more it is worth the higher the probability that you WILL get the finance? (all other things being equal - such a extraction costs etc.)
How would you define "heavily invested", by the way?
