10/9/2020 15:44 | Yeah, maybe it was the 2 million shares later on that was holding the share price back. Don't know the board just looked funny. Was it you Scotty | riotinted_specs

10/9/2020 13:47 | And there is is somebody closing a near 11 million share position sell into a rising price. Anybody here? I doubt it, certainly not an LTI, not now as Saudi news and TK financial closure is imminent. Maybe it's Spreadex. I mean their may be a short spiked 10% gold correction. I personally do not think gold miners will be particularly adversely affected given we have all yet to see the full upside of gold prices going up. Gold mining stocks have gone up 34% compared to the 58% rise. Typically that should be more like 134% and much more for junior miners. I will not be caught out with a potential short gold price correction not worth the risk. Would buy the dips though. Should be up, up and away for the foreseeable future - particularly is theirs is a spike down in gold. | riotinted_specs
10/9/2020 13:02 | Despite all the blue and red ink on the trades. I see very few sales. It is an illusion the small buys are at a higher price blue and the more sizeable buys are at a lower price often showing in red. Maybe just a few sales in total this morning and that is it. I wonder if we will see after hours somebody closing a large position. If that is not the case then this has to pop up. | riotinted_specs
10/9/2020 12:58 | Good note Edgain. You mention you would like to see JQ developed sooner rather than later due to the current gold price. If it were strictly down to the gold price, I would prefer if we wait as I see gold rising - and substantially - for a very, very long time. Regardless, I too would like to see JQ development start as soon as possible because we have thousands upon thousands of square kilometres of pegging rights in both the Saudi and Ethiopian jurisdictions. And JQ development is but one small yet important step and enabler for KEFI to continue our journey. There is gold in them their prominent hills lined through a shiny deeply incised valleys containing metasediments and metavolcanic rocks. And there is a hell of a lot of copper and gold in that them there ridge - with pegging rights beyond the VMS finding. We do not even know how long that big mattress shaped mineralised nugget goes on for. | riotinted_specs
10/9/2020 12:24 | Any optional equity element for JQ would be pretty small, here's a snippet from the KEFI website: "Combined with the potential for development loans for up to 75% of capex requirements, it may be possible for KEFI to fund its share of the equity portion for less than $5 million in equity." It may or may not be developed before first production from TK, given the small DEVEX and the current gold price I'd prefer if it were before 2022. Regards, Ed. | edgein
10/9/2020 12:18 | CC, They raised £3.7m in May just days before they announced completion of the phase II drilling at Hawiah. So costs since that have been towards JORC and PEA for Hawiah and preparations for financial close at TK. They should be adequately funded to financial close providing that happens next month, all substantial drilling costs happened before May 2020. Further exploration and infill drilling is planned during the construction phase of TK from the working capital element of the funding. So if everything goes to plan KEFI will be fully funded for TK and wc etc. If they advance JQ to development there's a $30m funding requirement for that which is pretty small considering it could do around 120k oz per year from that shallow oxide, likely majority debt funded. HAA said they are the proposer while their saudi partner gives the approval. So even though they're minority holder they set the pace and timing on JQ and Hawiah. So next events if all go to plan will be PEA for Hawiah this month, followed by funding closing next month (TK). Regards, Ed. | edgein

10/9/2020 11:37 | For sure Kefi is finding a new level here to springboard from. It may tester around here for a bit but should spring from this area shortly | theaviator

09/9/2020 11:03 | Topicel, Halting a vaccine trial is routine, this is actually the second one. Halting only happens when they do not know why there is an adverse reaction. Should not affect the time estimates, as it often happens in vaccine trials, and should have been built in to the time estimates. | goatherd
09/9/2020 10:54 | PEA got to be on the cards soon, H will want to space out the good news to keep momentum. | scars
09/9/2020 08:31 | Oxford and Astro-Zen trial has been halted as adverse effect in someone. They're not sure why... Bad news and the reason why vaccine will be further away than we'd all wish - never mind what the Russians are risking... The impact on gold however might be relevant too. Topicel | topicel
