24/4/2020 13:00 | "Off-site infrastructure construction programmes are continuing for road and electricity connections." We've been hearing about these works for a long time now, so you'd hope that substantial progress has been made. I'd love to see a few photos of exactly what's been done, because if there are proper roads and powerlines specifically built for TK, that would do wonders for sentiment. Of course if there's still just some dirt and one bloke asleep in a plastic chair, that would not. | ![]() jaylett
24/4/2020 12:51 | I think that is probably true. It could also be a pump to get a fund raise off the starting block. This would be in line with previous snippets of good news. But I hope it's neither. I hope good things are coming for holders. But I won't be buying in again; I have been burned too often now. Andy | ![]() andysand
24/4/2020 11:52 | I can see the market sentiment affecting the share price.. it's currently flying at Wednesdays price.. Yeah, this past Wednesdays price. Although 30m + shares traded means the people who piled in at market open have been dealt a low card, like most long term holders.. | ![]() cybaajak
24/4/2020 11:14 | It's only yesterday I was thinking we were on the verge of a SHAG! Thankfully, such folly is now unlikely to come off;) M | ![]() marnewton
24/4/2020 11:13 | The Ethiopian Govt if fully committed and is spending it's $20M investment. About time it told ANS to do the same. TTT | tim_the_trout2
24/4/2020 10:31 | Ethiopian government has ridden to the rescue again really, half hope ANS do not pay up and either the national or local government takes its share but looks like the bits about liquidity suggest they will. "Project Equity: Tulu Kapi Gold Mines (“TKGM”) longstanding partners, KEFI and the Government, are coordinating with the private sector partner ANS Mining Share Company (“ANS Mining”) to maintain the planned structure of the public-private partnership, despite the local liquidity strains experienced this year and other effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. To that end: a. ANS Mining, which is the investment vehicle for a syndicate of leading Ethiopian banking, insurance and investment organisations, has re-affirmed its commitment to the Project following the Government’s injection of significant liquidity into the local financial markets during the past two weeks" | ![]() robjm66
24/4/2020 10:16 | the charmer, Your "vitriolic diatribe" is another shareholder's "frustrated realism". Personally view today's RNS as welcome, in that it has come after a lengthy period of silence. But I can't describe it as "great" news. If some funding does appear before the end of June, whether it's from ANS or the EG, then that would indeed be good news. But let's wait and see, shall we, as we've seen many of these optimistic timelines missed in the past. Like others, also, I am very disappointed that some movement towards cutting company expenditure in the meantime has not been referred to. | ![]() chopper harris1
24/4/2020 10:07 | So, it is confirmed that the mine will open, as I forecast once the current EG confirmed its involvement. The moaners will no doubt come up with many reasons to justify those moans, but we will have a positive outcome that many long term holders can eventually enjoy. Admittedly, not as much as they might have done, but enjoyable just the same. It seems that their faith has been shown to be justified (assuming no further coupes of course). | ![]() scrappycat
24/4/2020 09:38 | Every industry at the moment is taking advantage of the very low borrowing interest rates on offer,so I would hope Harry/Kefi will be also taking advantage of this.onwards and upwards | ![]() bostanli
24/4/2020 09:36 | Precisely. If ANS don't stump up the cash now they won't get their full allocation of shares. | ![]() bradley12
24/4/2020 09:34 | With all the vitriolic diatribe on here, I was expecting more of the same and more denigration of this great RNS. Perhaps we will have new aliases to do that in the fullness of time. :-)) Overr the short term we will get the SA assay results. | ![]() the charmer
24/4/2020 08:56 | “ in the event this investment is provided by entities outside of ANS Mining, there will be a proportionate adjustment to the TKGM shareholdings. KEFI's interest in TKGM would remain unaltered” KEfi interest would remain unaltered. | ![]() robjm66
