Hi All,

Thanks for setting up the new thread. I have been following the old one for a while but without posting anything.

Currently have just under 3M shares. Anyone have any idea why on the good RNS it dropped 10% today? Is ity just the MM's playing around?

Cheers for any views on why the drop happened on a good RNS.

As I said, I couldn't care less what the price is at this time. This is just the MMs playing around, creating a 2 way trading market. They have been provided with a superb opportunity to do this via the delays. When the funding money appears, I suspect they would be somewhat backs to the wall trying to cover the buys. They are making hay while the sun shines from their point of view.

cjm.

Fortunately, Harry has far more integrity than you, and fought ardently to keep the lights on. As evidenced by your previous posts, you would have preferred them to have gone out. A strange stance to adopt from one claiming to hold a million plus shares. The fact that all other shareholders would have suffered an unnecessary loss, had he followed that path, does not seem to bother you one iota.

Further more, you said he 'failed to tell the truth', and I asked you to provide an example. You singularly failed to do so. I trust Harry, and so do many long term holders. This does not mean he doesn't occasionally get things wrong, or always chooses the right course of action. None of us is infallible, but when it comes to trust, my money is, and continues to be, on Harry - certainly, rather than you.

Even more 'Simples'!

I have close to that also. Maybe the next spike I may jump. My average is 1.17 so still in profit... good news f#$ks this share. It's only because I know eventually it will climb that I then put it in the bottom drawer...

@ianf67 - I now have over 1m shares, so it is disappointing - but I do agree with you. Kefi is the only share I know that reacts negatively to good news. People just don't trust Harry. Simples!

For what it is worth, my guess is that the KEFI presentation, at the recent conference, inspired other Africans to get involved. I doubt Harry sought it, they sought him. It is, after all, a great opportunity to make a great deal of money. The gold is there, and soon recovery of that gold will commence and KEFI will be involved in any event.

As to when, I believe this will prove to be the final delay period. The Ethiopian Government have, in effect, shouted their involvement from the roof tops. They will not want to discourage the possibility of investment by other mining exploration companies, particularly since they seem to believe that is where the medium term prosperity of the country lies.

Just my opinions, of course.

Hi Scotty, that link seems to be for premium users only. I believe you can make it an open thread and still moderate. Not suggesting it needs to be moderated but a new header and title being the main thing.

"After so many years talking about funding, I find it remarkable that we switched jockeys in a matter of days. The speed at which we decided to get a bank loan was astonishing. I can only speculate as to what went wrong with ANS. but it had looked very suspicious for a long time as they continually found excuses to not hand over any money. Because of that shocking change in funding options, I think many want to be sure that it’s real. It does seem as if Ethiopian money is not easy to trust."

Extract from the previous thread; there appears to be some confusion / lack of understanding here. The change in financing relates specifically to the bond component, which will now instead by funded by African banks in a more efficient and cheaper way for KEFI and shareholders. This does not relate to the ANS component, who are still part of the funding syndicate and are expected to make their first equity payment shortly. While there have been delays, nothing has "gone wrong with ANS" yet and it is untrue to suggest otherwise.

Perhaps non-holders could ensure they are clear on such matters before making statements like this.

Scotty,

Cheers for the new thread, that's much tidier and the PM prices in the header is useful too.

Regards,
Ed.

Wow, The content of your post shows how little research you've done and your level of understanding of the financing. Best post in ages!
