As September was last month and the "wet season" has ended, have the farmers (who rely upon agriculture and crops) already been at work sowing and tilling on the NEW GROUND, OR, more worrying, been cultivating on the old ground above the mineral deposits that TK has ?

Bit of a odd question would think any farmers would save any seeds for the new site they would be moving to. Probably a section in the compensation package that covers the farming aspect.

Slide 7 Prime Minister issued instructions to all depts on 28 Feb 19 to start Tulu Kapi development. Federal Govt started off-site infrastructure & Local Govt approved resettlement compensation.

Slide 10 All Government levels have advised they are ready to trigger the development and some activities have started.

The Govt approved its TKGM budget allocations on 1 March 2019 and started its spending program.

Because ANS needed to satisfy themselves (probably each individual investor) that the report was indeed satisfactory. And this is in Africa.

28.06.2019 - ANS Mining has confirmed its first instalment of US$11.4 million will be released to trigger community resettlement and other development tasks, upon the satisfactory receipt of the aforementioned updated independent reviews.

10.07.2019 - The updated independent security report has been arranged to be provided in August 2019 following on from the authorities' rapid and firm response to KEFI's requests for extra security protection and extra local administrative capacity before resettlement starts.

Since the Prime Ministerial go-ahead for the Project, as announced on 5 March 2019, the final federal policy consent was received from the Ethiopian central bank, as reported in the announcement of 6 June 2019

Injection of the first equity instalment of US$11.4 million (Ethiopian Birr equivalent) will be made upon satisfaction of certain conditions.

The convertible loan facility with USD1.6M left on it at 05.08.2019 comes with a 10% discount to the SP-VWAP so if any more is drawn down and converted to shares expect this drop to continue until the ANS funding arrives..

It is going to be a long month waiting...!

Another stellar performance this week. Have a feeling our benefactor has been drip feeding the sells softly softly so as not to upset us nervous nellies too much. Won't do any good though as .008p won't last too long into next week.

On a brighter the company hasn't replied to my email yet. Can't think why lol.

Goatherd joking of course, more importantly harry has chatted to him in the past and been told to relax a bit as the project will go ahead. He is obviously a cut above the politicians we have here and is determined to improve things and has already a track record in getting things done. Maybe that should be remembered by posters here.

I'll reiterate.IF Lycopodium were to 'upgrade' their interest they would release a 'reactive' stockmarket equivalence. Its, after all, something that would reflect on their share price on the Australian Markets yes/no, not just Kefi.Strangely enough THEIR stock market announcements have been kind of lacking.

That was a bit pompous. HAA/Kefi have repeated 'October' without changing it several times and that consistency is unprecedented. So, it is looking good on that count.

Another slight difference is that Lycopodium is now gearing up (Kefi/ANS met with them in Perth at the time of the down/under conference). So the project has gathered momentum that it did not have before. It could be Lycopodium that is in the driving seat now.

So, there are a couple of reasons why there could be a break of precedent.

I would not bet against the project getting under way this month.

I had betted that BoJo would get a deal and almost threw in the hat on that one. A deadline is not missed until the day after.

Given the integrity of the Ethiopian PM, and his government, appears to have been endorsed by the Nobel prize committee, I feel the verification of funding date, by both Kefi and the EG, leaves little doubt that this will happen. Just my opinion, of course, and no advice intended.

Well done to the Ethiopian PM, in winning the Nobel Peace Prize. He, and his government, have been very busy over the last few months. It is hardly surprising that Kefi has not been that high on the priority list.
