I’ve never read a board more full of negative posts. Not sure what to make of it. Genuine question - if you have this poor an opinion of the company why don’t you sell and move on? Plenty of other investment opportunities out there. Is it because despite the past failings and lack of confidence in the management you still see value here? Or have you already sold and just want to vent?
Honestly interested in the answer - I can’t imagine having money in a company where I felt as negatively as some regarding every announcement. |
Actually got what looks like photos of the road being built in the presentation. |
Comprehensive insofaras it says practically nothing. |
Pretty comprehensive update and makes sense to use the future minerals forum as a shop window.
Certain Major Works have now started
Detailed finalised terms are being inserted into the already-drafted detailed documentation for execution
and up to US$30 million in the form of gold-linked preference shares of KEFI Minerals (Ethiopia) Limited expected to be issued as the Ethiopian Stock Exchange is launched (currently scheduled to be by the end of January) (timing of webinar?)
the remaining US$30 million is being finalised with certain Middle Eastern and other sectoral investors,
Saudi the staged development plans for the Jibal Qutman Gold and Hawiah Copper-Gold projects; and
o short-listing potential transaction scenarios being discussed with third parties.
"We will shortly launch broader Major Works at our Ethiopian Tulu Kapi project, a high-grade and high-recovery gold project larger than any Saudi gold project today. We will also commence exploration at tantalum/lithium and copper/nickel/cobalt targets in well-known Ethiopian zones of mineralisation for these critical materials, following the award of the Konso Project in December 2024.
"At the same time there is significant interest in our 15%-owned GMCO JV in Saudi Arabia, currently under strategic review, and we look forward to further discussions during the Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh next week."
Going to have to make progress over "coming weeks" to hit the targets being talked about. If they start hitting them.. |
More flannel. Still no agreed finance package and Schrödinger's Access Road is being built (again). |
Fantastic that detailed finalised terms are being inserted ROFLMFAO |
Thanks very much Katsy.
I have an anti-virus programme running (Bitdefender) and I am passing the problem to them, |
@Goatherd
Just seen your post on your thread. You have a virus, whatever you do, do not open any links from these popups, they will mess up your computer. Try any of the following |
Thanks digger.
Trouble is, so do I! Doesn't work in this case. |
Arraws digger. |
goatherd I run adblock which is free as an extension in my browser and also subscribe to Malwarebytes. Looks like the former blocks 4 ads and the latter 41 but trackers are included in the 41 |
Is any one else being plagued by McAfee trying to sell a virus programme with drop down ads, taking up one whole screen?
I have had 10 so far today. I would love to know how to stop them! |
You do realise this is a free bb* and not a court of law, I trust? It exists to allow people to pass the time of day, preferably in an enjoyable manner.

I don't agree Jeffian.
I believe calling someone a liar is on the same level as calling them a thief, or a rapist and should demand the same level of proof.
Especially when they do not have the opportunity to defend themselves. |
"How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?" (alternatively "How many angels can stand on the point of a pin?") is a phrase that when used in modern contexts can be used as a metaphor for wasting time debating topics of no practical value or on questions whose answers hold no intellectual consequence when more urgent concerns accumulate.[1] |
It is odd, is it not, that so many people accuse KEFI (or Harry in particular) of lying, when I have never read, or seen, him lie? Nor have any of the people who say he lies been able to show me anything that is a lie (that, of course, of the very few who have even bothered to try!).
So what is a lie?
I believe it is the issuing of a statement that the issuer knows at the time of issue, is not true.
If someone says "it is going to rain next week" that cannot be a lie, because nobody knows if it will or not.
If someone says "It rained on last Tuesday" is rather different, especially if the issuer did not say where. (I do not believe location can be implied in that statement).
But if they said "It rained here on last Tuesday" then it could be lie. Or, alternatively, it could be the issuer was merely wrong, or mistaken, or even forgetful.
I think that sort of logic train should be carried out before anyone accuses anyone else of lying. |
"it will come unless everything in the last few RNS's are a pack of lies"
How to sum up the entire history of Kefi in one short sentence. |
adrian1001 - 27 Feb 2020 - 12:56:57 - 2148 of 29712 Kefi Minerals 2020 and beyond - KEFI Why does everyone keep on saying that ANS repeatedly make excuses not to pay up. There is no such evidence in any shape or form. Yes we want the money but keep in pointing fingers in one direction when there are so many facets to this is just venting in the dark. Frustrating yes, but it will come unless everything in the last few RNS's are a pack of lies. That would mean the government and everyone else, I don't think so.
This post from you is coming up for it's 5th birthday. You'll understand if I don't take your observations too seriously, assuming that it was my post & not TW's headline you were referring to. ;-) |

Backing from Canada’s Wheaton Precious Metals for the Kurmuk project bodes well for the future of Ethiopian gold mining, executives say. Ethiopia is moving closer to fulfilling its potential as a major gold mining jurisdiction, KEFI Gold and Copper executive chairman Harry Anagnostaras-Adams tells The Africa Report... |
