 Well the key is the is full sign off of Ethiopia membership of the AFC...
"KEFI is pleased to report that it has now also received initial approval from the second co-lending bank subject to, inter alia, the formal ratification of its Country Membership from the Ethiopian Government. The Country Membership has already been approved by the relevant Ministry and the relevant documentation for its ratification is already in place, therefore no administrative delays are anticipated.
Following the award of this Country Membership, already in place for our first co-lender, both banks are expected to proceed to full and final credit approval on the enlarged debt package as the residual few conditions are satisfied."
Some people are getting excited at the possibility that their might be some announcment either connected to a visit to TK or an African banking get together but it could just as easily come out of the blue or drop anytime with announcement at government level in Addis or AFC HQ.
As I do not see any reason apart from bureaucratic inertia why is has not been signed off yet or why the Ethiopian government would go this far pursuing membership then not want it should just be a matter of time. |

Two more spread betting companies have this morning closed the market on Kefi Gold trading and only allowing closing of positions.This is all the evidence you need that something major on the news front is expected by market insiders.

Really? To me he just seems to be clutching at anything vaguely positive. What folk really appreciate is insight/analysis and information that is company specific. |
I will stick my neck out and say the RNS on TK sign off is under a week away,from the statements it is said the first bank is refreshing terms because of second banks increase in capital,so kefi are giving the first bank the chance to do same.
I cannot see why any delay would arise from this,it says to me that the banks are even more keen than before given recent changes in Ethiopia and the highh gold price arena.
RNS could drop anytime. |
