This is a post by hubstar on LSEG INDEX - CLOSING ONLY !Today 12:51I have just noticed that today IG Index has changed the status of Kefi to a "closing market only - no new positions" this is the first time i have seen this on Kefi so it adds weight to the market expectation that RNS is close. They know they would be caught out bigtime and more so in event of an intraday RNS. |
I was hoping for something more informed rather than avatars mystic meg, crystal ball, feelings in their water but thanks anyway.
Oh well, back to waiting and hoping *
*praying |
Have to say it does feel like that RNS is close,we might even get an intraday or 2pm slot release.Someone on another site has said Harry has been in Addis for last 4 days ? anyone confirm this ? |
Really? To me he just seems to be clutching at anything vaguely positive. What folk really appreciate is insight/analysis and information that is company specific. |
I will stick my neck out and say the RNS on TK sign off is under a week away, from the statements it is said the first bank is refreshing terms because of second banks increase in capital,so kefi are giving the first bank the chance to do same.
I cannot see why any delay would arise from this,it says to me that the banks are even more keen than before given recent changes in Ethiopia and the highh gold price arena.
RNS could drop anytime. |
Being a Yorkshireman I can confirm that many people around Skipton are often seen around sheep. |
Can any avatar kindly confirm when my KEFI stake is going to multi-bag ?

Good morning all.
At last a bit of ‘value’ here. |
Thanks Rob,
One of your better efforts. |
Barry posts on ADVFN
I note that Skipton Christmas market will be open, in just a week and a half..
Pizza express is generally half decent imo..
Aye, I will be due 4 new tyres shortly,..
I have just noted that it was a bloke who the BBC gave the Womans footballer of the year award to. It passed me by initially as I have no interest in womens football, obviously. But, of course, who else could they possibly have given it to?

Speaking of luncheons, we had a lovely roast at the Cromwell cottage in Kislingbury yesterday, the place was absolutely packed out too, which is good to see. … Guess we cannot all provide high content posts on ADVFN, re who they could have given the award to giving it to a women might have been a good start. |
Rob great posts on gold buying, thanks as always |
Wind your neck back in ACT!The information Rob provides here is well appreciated! |
If the avatar is passing the time of day in a pleasant manner, then all well and good.
Although quite what pleasure the avatar gets out of hunting down this total rubbish that neither he or anyone else reads, who only knows. |
Give it up. It will happen when it happens. You are not bringing it any nearer, just clogging up the board. |
Allesandro i share your optimism :-) |
With all those VIP in the region attending for mining related activities, surely the soon to be largest miner in the country ( kefi ) will have been the subject of many of the talks there, both formal and informal. We are set for an exciting few weeks ahead here IMO |
Addis Ababa, November 23, 2024 (FBC) – President Taye Atske Selassie underscored that the government of Ethiopia is working hard to ensure the country’s benefit from the mining sector by properly utilizing its untapped mineral resources.
The president officially opened the 3rd International Mining and Technology Expo 2024 today at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa today, ENA reported.
Speaking on the occasion, President Taye mentioned that Ethiopia is a country with potential mineral resources.
The president highlighted the efforts being carried out by the government of Ethiopia to exploiting this mineral potential of the country to help expedite its development, citing the recently implemented mining policy and the macroeconomic reforms.
The third edition of mining and technology expo (MINTEX 2024), that brought together various international and domestic companies engaged the sector, will be held for the coming 4 days at the Millennium Hall.
Investors, financial institutions, scholars, prestigious companies engaged in the sector, ambassadors of various countries and representatives of international organizations are participating at the Expo.
Panel discussions and exchange of experiences will be organized on the margins of the expo to highlight the potential of the sector for investment.
The event is expected to provide a convenient opportunity for domestic companies to promote and sell their products to the international market.
Mining is one of the five priorities of the government in its Homegrown Economic Reform Agenda as Ethiopia is a country endowed with immense mineral resources. |
So is today the last day of the MINTEX in Addis ? and anyone know if Kefi attended ?? there are many movers and shakers attending. |
The president has been visiting a number of projects recently so it possible he going to TK and the timing tallies with harry recent comments. Are we close to lift off proper and the huge re-rate :-) |
I wonder how many avatars are wondering how long before we get a "TTT" post? |
danmart, kefi are soon to get a stack of cash (possibly more than current MCAP) from a local listing in Ethiopia, and the huge sums from the two funding banks at TK.This is perhaps the only time i been confident they will not do a placing. |
