They need to get drilling the KCB though, very slow progress and nothing to excite the market. The drill needs to be doing the work soon. Grab samples and the modelling scenarios are all well and good but they need to start drilling and find something.

But let's not forget folks the KSZ could dwarf the KCB.
One could argue that the valuation and cash only values Kav on the KCB and there is nothing in the share price for the KSZ.

Count, thanks for the heads up! The KCB is extremely interesting! KAV seem to be "right place, right time"! Let's watch what KAV/POW can do with it this year...

Thanks D220! CB is on fire right now...JLP, XTR and GLR:)

The Kalahari is a very exciting place for minerals, I really like those companies looking for copper and other metals hidden beneath the sands. Discovery metals did very well.

There you go then, a massive potential area to explore and look for prospects. GLR have just done a deal, which is very good, with Sandfire Resources who have bought into there exploration license. Have a read and then apply that to what KAV have. In my opinion it helps to ascribe a valuation to the licenses, shows how interesting they are and also shows the potential of what KAV may have on offer. All positive and I am surprised the share price hasn't ticked up on this news as it's associated and aligned to KAV.

Yes, but first do me the pleasure of answering this question, are KAV exploring for copper in Botswana and in the Kalahari?

Seems like nobody has notice the deal that GLR have just made for their Kalahari copper licenses with Sandfire resources and how this in turn relates to both KAV and POW.

Looks like it's not just metals to be found in this neighbourhood.

Reconnaissance Energy Africa is exploring the Kavango basin for oil, has a market cap of over $400m and hasn't even drilled a well yet.

Worth listening to the latest POW stockbox interview with Paul Johnson.
Of all the projects POW has he calls the KCB his personal favourite.
He also gives some good insight as to how things are progressing regarding an IPO of the JV with us on to a recognised exchange. Sounds like things are moving along very well on that front.
