Fqr has a point. The amount of sulfide showing is very little compared to samples found from even a very quick Google. However, if the model is shown to be correct, and as a result massive suphides have been found, that increases significantly the chance of drilling coming up trumps. All still to play for I feel.

I had asked him previously to be more measured when posting.

Maybe not an economic deposit, but they are very important as they validate the model. Now they need to refine and plan ahead for the next campaign.

⁦‪@KavangoRes‬⁩ This is fantastic news but you might want to explain what in means as not everyone is a geologist

⁦‪@RolfGerri‬⁩ ⁦‪@KavangoRes‬⁩ It means the mafic intrusion has reached sulphid saturation, allowing for Cu-Ni and other associated elements to come out of solution as sulphudes. Hopefully this was an extensive enough event to form a economic deposit!

Sulfides, but of which metals ? That's rather important to know.

That's from RIT38 which was the first hole of the approx 1,000m campaign to test for metal sulphides.

It is likely gasmanmick that we'll see further news releases in some shape or form as the festive season approaches. I reckon you are onto something re: combined JV for the KSZ and Ditau. Ditau is 70Km east of the main body of the KSZ but does form part of the KSZ even though the main backbone of the KSZ and Ditau are quite different geological structures. The company have also stated that a JV with a bigger industry partner is not only being sought but desirable and essential given the scale of the projects and the extensive drilling campaigns that would be required.
I suspect companies like Rio, Anglo, De Beers, First Quantum etc would be interested if we can prove our 'geological hypothesis'. As Mike said we only need a sniff and I think it's all very much to play for.

Note to say what hole been drilled would be nice but no more speculation wait for all results.
Could JV partners for Ditau be also waiting for KSZ results to come in on both or would this be separate anyone know how this normally works?

Great news over on RMM they hit " MASSIVE Sulphides "

Would be nice if the same thing happened here?
