Would be nice to hear something from Kav about the downhole geophys in the next few days. MM said it would start in January I believe. We seem to be drifting in a bit of limbo atm. Do we have anything or not?

Tiny volumes and no news is all it takes.

But aside from assay results awaited from J'burg they're doing on-site EM downhole testing as soon as equipment is available, I think hoping for January.

All gone very quiet here as they have gone away to INterpret the results of drilling
so it will go either 2 ways
1) Have found loads of minerals to commercially drill in which case will need more funding or a sugar daddy farm in partner
2) Have found FA

Hopefully will be the 1st Scenario

Kavango wraps up phase one drilling at Kalahari Suture Zone

Botswana is one of the most stable and attractive mining jurisdictions in Africa

Kavango Resources PLC (LON:KAV) has completed the first phase of drilling on the Kalahari Suture Zone project in Botswana.

During this phase three of the 15 targets identified as having potential to host massive sulphide ore bodies were tested.

A total of 749 metres of reverse circulation drilling and 344 metres of diamond core drilling were completed over six holes on the three targets.

The drilling has successfully confirmed that Kavango's exploration strategy, which includes airborne electromagnetics, soil geochemical sampling, and resistivity surveying, is effective in identifying buried gabbroic intrusions and zones of conductivity.

Disseminated sulphide mineralisation has been intersected at various depths.

The core will now be analysed in Iaboratories in South Africa.

Kavango plans to survey at least three of the holes with downhole geophysics, including downhole electromagnetics.

"It is very encouraging to note that the company's exploration strategy for the discovery of a world class copper-nickel-platinum group elements magmatic sulphide deposit appears to be valid and progressing well,” said Michael Foster, chief executive of Kavango Resources.

“Disseminated sulphides have been intersected in the gabbros and the results of assays are eagerly awaited. Deposits of massive sulphide ore are still to be identified but it is hoped that downhole geophysical surveying will pinpoint the location of such deposits. A second phase of drilling will be planned in the new year to follow up assay results and the downhole surveys, as well as additional priority targets'"

Think SA shutdowns similar to ours, I used to do biz there it was never a problem.

We've got the EM downhole surveying to come after xmas too but no precise date for that yet, not sure if that would give instant feedback or whether it would need to be interpreted before releasing.

Nicely encouraging, so my derided prediction of assays mid December RNS now appears to be optimistic. Not sure of Christmas shutdowns in SA but I'm going for the end of January for assay results RNS.

It was quite clear that tests/analysis of drills wouldn’t be done until after Christmas. All that was mentioned was a further update on the likely completion of the drills.
Not likely to be told anything until new year. This was all explained, and quite clear.

Hourly updates lol.
Mike Moles video 29/11 states need to test under scope if primary or not that’s nearly two weeks ago.
Info not clear ie if secondary then my understanding nothing of value will be found does this apply to whole of KSZ I don’t know.
I have asked for clarification more than once but no replies from company or investors yet so please correct me if I’m wrong.
I have been long time large investor but reluctantly sold off some because of the extra risk this confusion caused.
This board is meant to be a place to share useful info so please do it is needed.

I am prepared to wait into for the New Year to see if KAV are on the right track here. MM did say that we would get another RNS when the drill campaign was complete which he expected to be in a week or so and that was 10 days ago. So news any time now. Whether that will include any analysis, we shall see but the down hole geophys planned for Jan should give them more to go on.
Hopefully news will drive the SP/sentiment to enable a fund raise at higher levels than this!

Got to be honest. I find the day to day comments on her a little bemusing really. Mike Moles recently did an excellent video interview stating quite clearly how things were going and the plans for the future work. The main point made was there had been postive finds in the drills but NO analysing would be done until after Christmas. Yet people are still wanting hourly updates it would seem. Extraordinary.
In summary, there a lots of positives from the drills but nothing concrete until the analysing next year.

Please read board before posting read info posted by KAV which Refers to disseminated metal sulphides in the gabbroic sills which are been tested to see if primary or not.
Now your here can you explain to me what the outcome will be if secondary because most of KAV posts are clear as mud
Ps I’m relaxed I can afford to lose money here not all can

gasmanmick are you fairly new to the natural resources sector? Only asking as companies such as KAV always need to raise some money every year so yes in 2020 KAV along with many others will be most likely raising some money.

The amounts have generally be relatively small with the last raise only being around £750k.

I am sure that KAV will release further news shortly but you must understand that the mining exploration game is not an instant results business so just try and relax as all will become clear soon enough!

If disseminated metal sulphides in gabbroic sills are not primary then this will be worth nothing KSZ will have nothing
Rio spent 1.5 million looking for copper in Kalahari then walked
Ditau has 1 in 10 chance
I have requested clear info re importance of xenoliths just more geo speak and it was not given so I’ve sold a bit and will wait and gamble for a little bit longer but expect to lose it all

The funding requirement is obvious imo. The presence of primary sulphides is not....yet.
