I think they will get high grades at the shallow depths but decreasing the lower they go. 3% easily achievable at 40m imo. Perhaps 1% at a greater depth. Prove up Nickel sulphide and will attract a lot of attention from China as they seem to be building up a relationship with the Tanzanian government.

3-4% Ni is around 6-8% copper eqv. The average global copper grade is about 0.5%! 0.6-1% Ni at 40m would be good, 1%+ would be very good from 40m. 3%+ would be excellent if that's around the average over the 50 holes. If it comes with some pgm byproduct all the better.

Don't think it will be anywhere near 13.6%, however anything over 3 or 4% would be excellent.

Assuming the nickle sulphide recovery assessment is positive and results are say good, I can see institutional investors moving in imo... Then if we get 13.6% recovery this considering very good! Interesting times ahead gla.

Despite what they say on the LSE board think offloading Imweru was a good decision, not much gold there considering what they have at Blyvoor and Tanzania government would have wanted a slice. They would have had to do more exporation work to prove up the remaining resource and still not have as much as Blyvoor which is ready to go.


The current, JORC-compliant, mineral resource at Imweru consists of 11.6 Mt at a grade of 1.38 g/t for 515,110 oz Au. Exploration work to date has only covered 50% of the project area.

They have had $300k with another $200k to come in March followed by $500k June 2022.

Haneti will have to be drilled further before we get interest from the major players, these results will show if there is the potential there to take it further. If proven after diamond drilling then I would expect Chinese may want in.

LC and CS have described Haneti as potentially world class. licence is 5000km sq, structure of Haneti is some 80km long and they're hoping for multiple VMS with Ni and pgm. So potential is enormous if they can get commercial grades from this shallow drilling. Ni is having a strong run as you suggest, good time to be drilling huge targets. Assays only need to be a fraction of the Ni content those rock chips. Fingers crossed for some good drill results.

What’s the potential upside here if the drilling at Haneti is a success ? The price of Nikkel seems very strong at the moment .

Can someone tell JDT that he keeps posting mis information on Imweru. They receive $500k in the first 9 months and a further $500k 15 months later.

Excellent the main event is underway at last. This has been many years in the making for KIBO/KAT, hopefully CS will have identified something as significant as he did for EUA. This is a huge area. 50 very shallow holes won't take too long either. Its about similar total metres and depths that EEE took a couple of weeks to do recently. Really looking forward to these upcoming assays.
