Today the largest diamond producing mines are predominantly to be found in Russia. Giants like Nyurba, Aikhal, Udachny, Lomonosov and Mir

I've just been on the phone to my dreaded and very feared Green Swamp Monster who will be going round to the Land Registry office first thing in the morning to find out what the duck is going on .The green swamp monster is taking round some green sparklers from the source in the swamp to see if he can speed things up a bit .

Seller gone, well a strong ticking off was delivered from Bonniers skeletons of death and there has been a noteable decline in selling since, down to a trickle.

Looks to me like yesterday's after the bell rns is a Red Flag .
Why would you stand for re election at the AGM and then 5 days later resign ?
It just doesn't make any sense at all apart from a board room bust up over something he wants no part of what so ever like blowing shareholders out in a delisting for example ?
This has been a terrible year for KDR and only looks set to get worse by the looks of it .Hope that's not the case but you don't suddenly decide you can't commit to the company due to heavy work loads in the US over Christmas!!

RBonnier, KDR do have a new chief - Brendan McMorrow as announced 11th November.
I do agree with you that they should merge with CGNR to reduce overheads and, yes, salaries. The only people getting rich here are the Directors. By my calculations, we are down 40% this year and it has cost me ,personally, a lot of money.
Poor old David Naylor with 9 million shares and Steve Coomber with 8.8 million. Each have lost about £60K this year. That's equal to the salary of the Chairman so i'm sure he will send you both a Xmas card. This years loss on shares for me is solely attributable to KDR and CGNR. And still I hold in the hope that a shovel will one day dig into the ground if only to produce nothing! Perhaps we disgruntled shareholders should book a flight to Finland and take a bucket and spade with us and dig up our own diamonds. After all, we all have an ownership in the permitted area don't we?
I wonder if Hoops will comment considering his holding in this poorly run company with promises for tomorrow year after year. I see a placing coming at 0.5p soon just to continue paying the wages. A very disgruntled shareholder...... Perhaps we should call an EGM to get rid of the current Directors and appoint Directors who would like to see some action.

Looks like we're Gonners unfortunately Hooops got this one very wrong along with the rest of us.Probably a convenient problem with the mining permit at Lahtojoking the only thing that I can see that might save the bacon is a tie up with CGNR who have announced a new leader we havnt is that because we don't need one ?

How low can we go? Is this a game which we are losing!
Surely with a new Chairman they should be thinking about combining CGNR & KRD and have 1 set of costs along with 1 salary each. Unless the new Chairman will do exactly what the previous management have done and drag this out for another 10 years just for the annual salaries guaranteed by the shareholders via placings and possible rights issues! I am personally getting fed up with the lack of information being fed to shareholders regarding the progress being made. Or perhaps the price is dropping as progress just isn't being made! Can't see me being in profit with this one prior to reaching 80 years old or being 6 feet under!
