Ok Dave...here’s my theory....partial repayment covers salaries etc whilst other “things” take care of themselves...need I go on spinning like a Whirling Dervish ?

Place your bets and name your price....let’s see who wins eh my little Dutch Detective x

I won’t be losing here....end of,

Partial repayment by Cgnr of loan to kdr. If KDR were secretly being bankrolled by a major as others suggest and on the verge of a life changing JV would they be calling in the loan? Not boding well

In that case there is no chance for KDR

I should imagine the partial repayment of the loan reflects a careful balancing of the Groups' financial needs/resources as a whole.

I imagine the repayments sufficient to enable the auditors to sign off the Accounts of both on a more-or-less going concern basis, but shall start to sweat a bit if there is an extended time lag before the KDR Accounts are published. Interesting, however, to compare the strength of the Auditor's reservations this year with last.

Material uncertainty related to going concern

We draw your attention to Note 1 in the financial statements, which indicates that the Group and Parent Company incurred a net loss of €745,485 during the year ended 31 May 2018 and, as of that date, the Group and Parent Company had net current liabilities of €2,953,825 and €2,607,867 respectively.

In response to this, we:
Inspected the confirmation received from Karelian Diamond Resources Plc that it does not intend to seek repayment of amounts owed by the Group and Parent Company within 12 months of the date of approval of the financial statements, unless the Group and/or Parent Company has sufficient funds to repay;

So what is still outstanding?

So KDR need cash but CGNR will carry on spending on their projects rather than repay this. Favouritim or discrimination?

I note CGNR's Accounts published today. They include a repayment of £160,662 against KDR's loan.

Will KDR's Accounts appear this week?

Apologies, shane - you are, of course, perfectly right that end November is their deadline. So three weeks wait. It will be interesting to see how, between them, KDR & CGNR avoid going concern qualifications.

As the black and white now transforms into glorious colour courtesy of Karelian TV, here’s another clue.....not subtle at all....as patience went...purely something else...

As far away as ever from actually achieving a bankable result, it would seem, but the bit I found quite surprising is the expressed intention of future drilling. This presupposes they expect to be able to raise yet more funding (at whatever dilution of existing holders).

The accounts due by end December (as last year, I suppose it'll be to the wire.....).
At least two things of interest there:

- how they manage to convince the auditors they are a going concern.

- how the debt owed to KDR by CGNR is being handled. £324k at 31/05/2017 and the Board confirmed it would not seek repayment for 'at least 12 months from the date of approval of the financial statements' of CGNR at that date.

KeyserSosse, that song was playing on the radio this morning. Is it a sign? Do you think Mr G is there for Kuhmo or Lahtojoki? Riihivaara and Anomaly 5 are KDR discoveries and the company appear to go to lengths to stress that in their RNS's. Is it fair to say KDR are not yet beholden to Rio? Has not bulk sampling been a clever move by KDR? Regards

So its a Corporate Twitter account and KDR looks forward to engaging with shareholders through it .Shouldnt KDR as a listed company be engaging with shareholders through official RNS news releases ? Oh no are they getting ready to delist and have opened a Twitter account to keep shareholders updated with developments !
