11/12/2016 11:10 | Hmmmmmm, big ego pops up and says 5 avatars all one person... Quite amusing but totally clueless, that person obviously doesn't realise the number of times folk on here have met up and can all verify each other's identity. Anyway, back to the bigger picture, re the free float, through family and friends whom I know personally at least one third of the company is held by them. Throw the BOD into the mix with their holding, swallows up roughly another third of freefloat. Add the long term Irish investors into the mix, and these are all elderly people as well who have very sticky hands, they're not budging until the big pay day. Available float is tiny, hence why we see dramatic swings on relatively small volume. And that explains why folk why bigego appear out of the blue trying to knock the forum and company. That poster wants in as cheap as possible. Good luck with that, if you're after a large buy, you'll be sent straight to NT tomorrow. Off to St Bernard of Kaavi Church now, I do believe Bonnier and Co are already there saying their prayers. | keysersosse
11/12/2016 10:59 | Big ego Clueless more like.!!! As one of Bonnie skeletons?? Next shorter please. Your the worst so far. | stevehoops
11/12/2016 10:20 | Blimey, I pop out to the staff party, sit with Mrs DrR and watch the Strictly semifinal, and 17 new posts appear! Lots of good stuff to read. Off to see Wasps play (and, hopefully beat, Connacht shortly. I am greatly looking forward to see how many posts I have to savour laters | drrichard
11/12/2016 09:58 | Does anyone know how much stock the mm Have. This could jump back over a penny in minutes.?? Or is just the 5 or so of us getting excited lol | stevehoops
11/12/2016 09:33 | Sure is going to be a exciting week. Just hope they package the next RNS as a positive . ie After the Discovery of Diamonds 😋 | stevehoops
11/12/2016 08:53 | When asked about a takeover......The prof said that during the year 355 garnet and sample analysis were carried out by Rio in their lab. This was at Rio's own cost of in excess of 350,000. They do not have to do that. It is clear from both Rio and Alrosa that they are keen on the Karelian Craton. Whilst the prof spoke openly about the deal with Rio and how it was great, he then immediately followed that up with talking about Alrosa, leading to him making the statement that whilst we have an agreement with Rio, "we are still looking at it on a commercial basis, and if someone makes us a very good offer we will say thank you very much and take it". If not we will go ahead ourselves. | goldeneye5
11/12/2016 00:58 | Bonnie where are u?? | stevehoops

10/12/2016 21:52 | I hear you. The enthusiasm with which that cardboard box was opened at the AGM to reveal diamonds was great. Good on him. Top man. No shortage of photos on the go. I should have raided the piggyback last week. I would guess we may see director buying next week | goldeneye5
10/12/2016 21:50 | How does this roll with investors ? Karelian get K-K into diamond production off their own back and sell off other areas to the highest bidder ? We get the Kudos of the first European diamond mine outside Russia, but slightly further down the line we get the big money as wanted by all, BOD and PI's alike. Sounds like a dream at first, but dreams do become true and yesterday's official line aligned with body language etc ensures this is no longer a dream. Sounds like major ramping, but not once today have monetary values in terms of our personal profits been applied to a single post. And it can't be classed as a ramp, as all posts can be verified by many witnesses 100%. That itself is a bloody rarity on a bulletin board. Original odds given by The Prof in 2014 of a 500-1 shot. Betfair and betfred have just shat their keks and are closing the book. | keysersosse
10/12/2016 21:35 | Re the bear hug G, I'd expect a full takeover and Alrosa have total control of that region. Prof Conroy returns to his homeland with the team as national heroes, and fully deserved. | keysersosse
10/12/2016 21:34 | Goldeneye, in 2014, the Prof mentioned the bear hug to us at the private soirée, and said they wanted the big money but work had to be done. Hell of a lot of the targets pinpointed at that bash have been undertaken since then and undertaken with swagger, elan and utter success. Maureen commented to a colleague and myself on arrival yesterday that she was astounded by the reaction of the market to KDR having an actual diamond mining permit. The negativity has turned ultra positive now, I'd say the market will react accordingly. Our apparent cunctation may be replaced by an all out battle charge. 2017 is filled with more promise than even I thought imaginable. | keysersosse
10/12/2016 21:31 | In terms of that bear hug you mention I have a feeling KDR would accept it's money in a takeover or asset sale, but not jv with them. Is that fair to say? | goldeneye5
10/12/2016 21:13 | KM was cagey when I asked about Russia, and may have just been giving the safe RTZ line to me, given it's not his place to say otherwise. I know geologists from the other side have been visiting in the past. The prof always mentions Alrosa too. He also said for the first time ever thats it about making money, which felt like different type of talk. Your bear hug point is more believable to me than the cagey response I got. Makes sense also given that document of Alrossa which the prof alluded to about where there future interest is geographically. As for CGNR, the Nevada statement suggests Newmont Mining Corporation to me. We shall see! | goldeneye5
10/12/2016 21:09 | Goldeneye!! Riihivaara Is only one play out of 5 finger salute. 200/300.??mil Put a price on the remaining asset's. Hmmm Rio has no claim on some of the remaining;-)) Harvest time for the Diamond hunters!! | stevehoops
10/12/2016 20:59 | Definite Countdown Hoops lad. Richard Whiteley and Carol Vorderman have just been dug up to present it. They were also shocked by the speed were moving at now. I reckon the BOD got spiked with amphetamines yesterday..... | keysersosse
10/12/2016 20:48 | I'd agree with most points there Goldeneye but the "bear hug" is definitely from the Russian side of the border. The Prof detailed this at a private presentation to 18 of us in 2014. Others on here will gladly verify this. Re the funding for K-K, I'd agree there's certainly no shortage of funding offers in the pipeline excuse the blatant and fully intended pun haha. I mentioned it before the AGM on here, and after witnessing the exuberance by the BOD yesterday, I'd expect news sooner rather than later to this effect on funds. The resolution was passed with flying colours after the "headroom/leeway" explanation and no obstacle is our way now. Folk originally sneered re the restructure but yesterday's reasoning showed we are not losing a single penny as investors. In the short, medium and long term, it's a clear benefit and major latch opening to many doors. Over to KDR now, time to get the best news flow yet going, I for one cannot bloody wait for the good days to roll. It's a coming folk.... | keysersosse
10/12/2016 20:43 | Goldeneye!!?? More Like Bullseye!¡!;-) | stevehoops
10/12/2016 20:21 | If RTZ look to build a mine at Riihivaara for £ 200 or 300 million and KDR have 49% the uplift to KDR would be beyond belief. As for Pipe 7 and adjacent land. When it comes to building a mine and the money needed to build it, I noted that they to not anticipate any problem in getting the money. Take from that what you like, but I think I have a fair idea why they were so happy at the AGM. I have been to many but have never seen them so happyI wouldn't be surprised to see some big offers materialise for KDR. I will be raiding the piggy bank Monday. | goldeneye5
10/12/2016 20:05 | KM also insinuated that RTZ is where the hug will come from and why given the relationship and deal they have would they look elsewhere. Hard to disagree with that. RTZ are impressed. Regarding CGNR a "very" important thing to note is the depth of drilling and the results from the most recent drilling work. CGNR has only gone to 200 metres as opposed to Dalradian who have gone to 1.2km depth. Note the grade difference in recent results which have suddenly gone from 1 - 2g to 25g. Note the widths are improving too. This is hugely significant as CGNR are getting better grades with depth. This has not gone unnoticed in past 6 - 8 months and interest is now at a different level. There are companies now looking to talk as the geological picture is emerging. The prof told all that they had been invited out to Nevada by a major recently to view their operations which is of a similar nature to clontibret ( I think he meant clontibret rather than clay lake, but not sure). You can draw your own conclusions which major gold company that was. (I don't think that's the first trip there if I'm not mistaken).I also think they actually secretly believe they may have 25 - 50 million oz's and they have literally just scratched the surface. It's the scale which is becoming more apparent. | goldeneye5
10/12/2016 18:51 | British Bulldog share. KDR BUY. ;-) | stevehoops
10/12/2016 16:37 | I'd say Hoops has indeed opened up a rather splendid point there re KDR opening up a diamond mine thus forcing hands of majors in a bidding war.. This was spoken over two and a half years ago elsewhere if folk remember correctly...hmmm... A master stroke from the BOD... Splendid debate today folks and all is evidenced in black and white much to the annoyance of certain people..... Shall we play the classic Band Aid ? PS Hoops, Harry the Wasp is buzzing as always covertly. | keysersosse |
