Definite priority now drrichard, hence why news could well indeed crop up anytime.
As I said earlier, I wasn't going to Dublin until a late(ish) call urged me to get my BTM over there sharpish with the allure of Masonic handshakes and scones.
I couldn't turn down a scone...but I did as eating is seen and frowned upon as cheating.

Pete could well be on the ball re RTZ, but, as I've always said, the big bear hug actually pays more site visits to our side of the Karelian and always will do.

Folk laughed 3 short years ago when I first mentioned the Red Army invasion.
Those folk choked on their cuppa when it was confirmed in the early part of 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth Investor Show.
More folk spluttered and spat their rich tea in their China tea cups when the Prof himself spoke of this in September 2014.

RTZ do appear on all fronts to be leading the charge, but Alrosa are a notoriously secretive and protective company. You won't hear from them personally until it is announced in a RNS.

Will that RNS relate to our side of the Karelian ?

I've called the KDR baby from day one. That baby spat its dummy recently, started to walk in March 2015, those steps are becoming bigger and bigger. That baby will speak for itself very soon.

I will never ever rule out Alrosa due to their major links, funds and infrastructure.
Money talks.

So, Mr K, not only are Rio paying for the assays, at circa $1000 a pop, but they are prioritising them well? Sounds like PotholePete may be right when he sees Rio looking for an asset to replace Argyle.

DB, appreciate the wider audience may not be aware of events, but an example of folk wanting back is represented by people I know personally. I've many contacts and a lot may well have sold on the initially reported longer timescales. Those folk want back in asap now, and many more who have healthy holdings already are eager to top up asap whilst cheap.

They know full well that available free float is minimal, I'd actually use the word miniscule. share price swings are usually quite dramatic and volatile on this one.i wouldn't be surprised to see the same next week, though I'm certain folk will hold for longer now, as news is likely to be bigger, thicker and faster here in the not too distant future.

From being at the back of the queue for analysis at certain labs, we've found ourselves as high priority now, so even the BOD can be fully justified now to literally expect news in the blink of an eye.

Regardless of newcomers, existing holders topping up will ensure shares and rises are sticker whilst being sustained.
Like the long termers, intraday movements don't appeal to myself, I'm here until the end and the big money.

Keyser.....Goldeneye and yourself have seen, and heard for yourselves. Many investors will not know or be aware of what progress has been made by the Company, because they have not made the wider market aware of recent events, or their intentions for the Company going forward in the short to medium term. A lot of people, myself included, are waiting to see just what happens with regards to the up and coming fundraising. I would like to see a return of interest for these shares and to get the shareprice back up to a more realistic level, it will be interesting to see what occurs over the next few weeks/month following the AGM.

I wonder how many want back in here now ?

Must admit, it totally took me and by all accounts Goldeneye by surprise yesterday with the unexpected fast tracking coming into play...

Anyway, as always, all in black and white...

Fantastic post Goldeneye, I'd forgotten about the Prof saying they'd entertain any serious offer.
Which, he followed up with by mentioning Alrosa and how they're seeing the Finnish side of the Karelian as key for future investments.
RTZ always get a mention, but equally so do Alrosa and virtually in the same breath.

Makes you wonder what's going on here doesn't it, especially as it was confirmed in 2014 that Alrosa are regular visitors on our sites......

Not bad for a tiddler which is supposedly to meant to be a lifestyle company..
Those words will haunt folk this time next year....

Wonderful feed back and thank you so Much.
This confirms what most of us have believed for the past 3)4 year's.
Why would KDR Carry on with funding and
Ground works since 2006.
Yet Mr Conroy takes less money then my wage's.?? Per year.
You are being taken for a ride the shorters cry !!!
Really!?
Conroy past record is second to none!!.
I think all our questions have well and truly been answered this weekend!!

Rio footing bills for lab work is in itself a little unusual and says a lot...KM alluded to that one to one. The prof had mentioned that were they not paying for the sample work then it would cost kdr approx €1000 per sample. Rio are excited about Riihivaara and I would watch this space here. Also regarding pipe 7 and following some further work on adjacent ground which they expect will add significantly there will a mine... sooner than you think. Kdr will entertain any serious financial offer also to take them over. If things pan out to plan here kdr looks like they could make an absolute fortune. I cannot stress that enough. The foresight that has led kdr to where they now are is absolute genius. What company would not want to be them right now? To arrive where they are and do so under the radar is extraordinary. I am surprised and I didn't fully appreciate their position. Kdr must be the hottest diamond exploration play around

Righteo, I don't need to say anything further now unless of course I'm provoked then I'll respond with actual FACTS...

I've done what's been needed but value family time so will make the most of this weekend wearing a bloody big daft grin.....
Three years doing this has worn me out and the flight from Dublin to Liverpool gave me severe jet lag, though it did have its highlights when an attractive young lady honked up all over her boyfriend and gave him highlights" in his hair....

I would say though, I've never once been pulled up the BOD for posting anything that isn't factual. Not bad considering I was sat having afternoon tea with them, and the son of the finance director actually commented on it being purely time and patience...followed by the classic BUILD.....wry smiles all round when that was said....

If we don't speak beforehand, have a superb Christmas and next year will be an absolute cracker here, Dublin and of course in Finland.

Leaving you with the now factual and not so cryptic all time KDR classic tune.......you know what you have to do now to reap serious rewards BUILD.......
1 minute 30 seconds onwards was and is the game changer.

Best of luck from Bolton
Si.

The key phrase from yesterday's RNS which ignited a rather flat Friday AIM market was undoubtedly "We have made significant progress in the year and the acquistion of Lahtojoki may well deliver a mine FASTER THAN WE PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT. And as a result we now have a COMBINED EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME"

No longer are we an exploration minnow, we are now into development.....and things are moving fast....faster than expected. The other month they announced it could take up to twelve months.....take up to.....it doesn't mean it will take that time does it ?

By jingo, a rather cunning play on words...

I wonder if next year's AGM announcement includes a phrase regarding actual exploration, development and PRODUCTION company.

And as drrichard rightly posted, this is fast tracked and starts to bring in revenue whilst work continues on the far greater prize at the Riihivaara project.......

Slow,slow.....quick quick quick..
Wall to wall its brick to brick.....
..they work so fast, it makes you sick.........

I did say didn't I ?

It's a pleasure drrichard.

As Goldeneye rightly pointed out, the potential here and progress made recently is simply quite staggering.
The BOD yesterday were as relaxed and happy as the proverbial pigs in muck.

Have any of the ones with keener eyes paid much attention to the finer details of warrants/options etc held by the BOD ? Certain key dates expiring next year.........hmmmmm very nice....

DB - we were shown slides where the previous owners did a 3000t bulk sample with estimated MINIMUM grades of 30cpht.
The further work currently ongoing with GTK on site is approximately 200 metres to the right hand side of the L project. The team "think" there's much more in that area.

I'd expect KDR to reveal plans shortly regarding a fundraising consisting of an element of working capital but more importantly giving details of the costs involved in developing an open pit mine.
Whilst speaking to the senior geologist at considerable length yesterday, he said it was relatively cheap to do and could be done quite rapidly.
The Prof did mention in the AGM, that it will make very good money for KDR whilst the much bigger project without doubt is Riihivaara.

A colleague of mine expressed the lack of PR and actual monetising of the rewards possible isn't helping the share price
It was a light switch moment with the team, once actual possible figures are given, then we'll be seeing a much higher share price
They know what has to be done, but yesterday's dream is today's reality.

Will there be a scramble for more shares come Monday morning then? Surely such a find could be quantified and a reasonable estimate of value placed upon it? Any sort of news release confirming that such diamonds are in situ and a pro rata valuation of the site would certainly help the share price. Why are the Company keeping such a tight lid on things?

Sounds like it was a positive sort of meeting. I hope that some of that good feeling and excitement, finds its way through to the shareprice over the coming weeks, and if we are to have a fundraising, it is carried out sooner rather than later.

Thankyou for the feedback Keyser and you also Goldeneye.

Thank you Goldeneye.

I think I sussed your identity today.

Did you also speak to KM after the presentation when he confirmed the source of diamond still in the rock and how many others were contained inside ?

I had a couple of cigs with K outside later, his beam lit up a dreary and wet Dublin Friday.

The Prof's brother is a legend, batting strongly well into his 90's and still in great spirits at the airport on the way home. Top drawer stuff today.

The diamond still in the rock was impressive to see and their senior geologist had a very satisfied smile on his face. The KDR situation is extraordinary. The progress this year (whilst not reflected in share price performance) is staggering in my view. KeyserSosse is on the money here and has called this one correctly. There was a genuine excitement from the board regarding KDR and where they are at.

Anyone doubting the authenticity of the diamond displayed today should ring the KDR office and to speak to the team for confirmation......a clue...ask where it was found and enquire about the rareness of the "item".....formed within a tiny piece of rock, and when pushed further, the senior geologist confirmed there were other diamonds within the piece of rock displayed.......

Scratching the surface springs to mind.......who remembers the link I posted of
Kaavi ?

Diamonds within everyone's reach !!!

Go on doubters, give them a ring on Monday, I bet they answer your calls now...
