Appointment of independent non-executive Director

The Board of Jupiter Green Investment Trust PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jaz Bains as an independent non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Bains is the Group Risk & Investment Director for Renewable Energy Systems ('RES') which he joined in 2003. On behalf of RES Jaz also co-manages The Renewables Infrastructure Group, which is listed on the FTSE 250. He has spent his working life in the power and electricity businesses. Prior to joining RES Jaz worked for Midlands Electricity and Cinergy Corporation. He has a BSc degree in Mathematics with Management Applications from Brunel University.

There are no other details to be disclosed under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
