27/7/2023 09:23 | A very good interim update this morning and confidence from the BOD with a 2.6p special dividend in addition to the 3.5p ordinary. Perhaps part of a strategy to fend off any circling vultures? Still some way to go to get me back to scratch mind. | pete160

15/5/2023 14:46 | Do they charge 2 and 20 for managing investors money? I can see the 20% mentioned (cut of profits) but hard to find the annual charge, I presume in the 2% area? | hamhamham1
15/5/2023 14:41 | Dope, this is from recent update... · Assets under management (AUM) increased by £0.6bn over the first quarter, closing at £50.8bn. · This was driven by positive market movements of £1.5bn and positive net flows from institutional clients of £0.1bn, partially offset by £1.0bn of net outflows from the retail, wholesale and investment trust channel. | hamhamham1
15/5/2023 14:37 | Just bought a few more around 120p, bargain IMO. | hamhamham1
13/5/2023 08:49 | Sold out of these a while back, but looking interesting again. How are they performing these days with FUM? | dope007
12/5/2023 16:29 | If you want a fund management business (or part ther of) take a look at LTI. | flyer61
24/2/2023 17:10 | VelocyTongo - I like Ashmore. Already hold. | topvest
24/2/2023 16:52 | Top. We've been buying Ashmore - it may go down but it's got a decent dividend yield (6.4%) and EM debt and equity valuations are at or near 20-year lows, and with a properly contrarian CEO/founder (he has 31% of the shares). Not fired all my bullets on ASHM, leaving room to buy more if it falls. | velocytongo
24/2/2023 15:33 | Same here topvest. Don't see why I won't be buying back in the 120p or less region, assuming I have money to invest at that moment in time!! | dope007
24/2/2023 15:05 | I've sold out again over dividend concerns as well. Only held for a week, but made 2% after costs which isn't bad for a mistake - I want a lower entry point given the risks. I think next year's dividend will only be in the 5-6p range which gives a 4% yield. That's quite low for an asset manager. I will put back on my watch list. ps DJIA seems to be dropping down below support levels, so could be bumpy next week. | topvest
24/2/2023 14:19 | I think it is a divi rebase, it was pretty unsustainable hence the massive paper yield new CEO, new strategy and I expect the half year results will be a lot brighter AUM must be up 15% just with the market run up. they were dire results but, they still made a profit :) | marksp2011
24/2/2023 13:37 | You think they will pay 8.4p next full year? I don't | dope007 |
