I wouldn't waste your money. The performance has been absolutely dire for a long time. Managers haven't a clue. If they are serious about investors they should merge with their sister fund Mercantile to create a bigger cheaper fund. Of course that won't happen.

Yes it's only down 32% since the start of the year. It's on a 17% discount now but the NAV is a couple of trading days out of date so it could be more like 12% now looking at how the FTSE 250 has performed. Still looks a decent entry point.

It has been between 0 and-15, but the current 11% is around average over 5 years. One of the few that are lower than they were before the Chinese virus.

God knows, it took a dip, then never recovered, odd.

What's with the massive discount here?

Nice. The discount has disappeared on these now which is great. EDIN still has a 30p discount, but I think that will be next to close

Have plenty of EDIN, along with DIG and MRCH. These are doing great, over 14 now.

Check out EDIN. Still on a ~8% discount to NAV and good rotation holdings

Up nearly 5% today. The Ian Cowie effect - he wrote in yesterday's Sunday Times that he bought some midweek. And looking at this IT sector, it does seem good value - large discount and good historic performer. Discount not so appealing today :-(

Time to buy JMF again????
FTSE250 at all time high. JMF at 12% discount looks like a bargain.

Manager has a good reputation among discretionary and advisory brokers. I'd hope the Dec '15 portfolio (post #7) has been rebalanced away from housebuilders and agents!

Any thoughts on this IT?
I've no UK mid 250 IT ( saved me last week) so i'm looking at this or Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund SCP or Invesco Perpet UK Smaller IPU

Bought last week so am happy with the recent rise. Missed out on SCP so this looks like it has potential to ride the closing discount?

great buy today imo - 15% below nav and yesterday's rise to be added to NAV aand 2% stock buy back last night - trading nearly 20% below NAV?

moves up fast compared to ftse250 rises - worth watching imo.

814p NAV today - 719p to buy, 12% below NAV - that's cheap for an investment trust imo. These are likely to trade over NAV when the FTSE250 is racing north so you could catch both the rise in the index and the re-rating imo, if the FTSE 250 breaks the old high.
