Posted at 26/6/2023 10:23 by cerrito Thought of my smallish holding in Jsgi when I read this in today's FT UnhedgedQuote Second, Schmitz looks at multiple expansion by stock size. Though small caps are cheaper and have better expected revenues, it is large caps that have risen most this year. |
Posted at 04/8/2022 14:56 by cerrito I have a smallish holding here and do not follow as closely as perhaps I should and thanks for setting up this thread...just stumbled onto it and was not there last time I looked.I listened online to the AGM. Writing up my notes today I see that someone asked about page 20 of the AR. I went there and it was to me rather incomprehensible ESG stuff. Is the person who asked the question reading this? One concern I had was if they were invested in companies who were being forced to raise funds in these unsympathetic markets and was pleased that the answer to my online question was there were no such cases in the last year. Too bad that I have only just seen that they have negative revenue reserves and would have been good to kick the tyres on dividend policy. Let's hope I organize myself to do that next year. Well done to those who bought about 3 weeks ago. I do not see myself buying or selling. |
Posted at 11/5/2022 12:38 by tonytyke2 Hi Brucie5, I am thinking of adding at these levels, near 8% discounted to NAV but I am sure I read somewhere, (factsheet?) that the dividend is linked to the equivalent of 1% of NAV? so unless the NAV increases, I don't think the dividend does, but I could be wrong.I will have to find where I read this, when I get chance. |
Posted at 15/2/2022 12:28 by mister md came across this one last week and decided to invest based on the re-trace in price and current dividend yield - despite not having heard of any of their top 10 investments ;-) |
Posted at 09/2/2022 14:53 by rcturner2 No problem. I was pleased to get into a pretty solid trust and a 10% discount and happy to sit on this for the long term and take the dividend. Japan is still a good long term economic player imho. |
