I bloody hope so - still a strong market for realisations, & they've always been conservative in NAV calculation.

Easier to hang on & wait when share price is rising tho ;)

They need another major disposal, but the fear is that the easy stuff has been sold, and can they achieve value for what's left

Payment tomorrow I hope, Selftrade maul my a/c until it's made (listing both full JPEL holding and new, ex-redemption holding, when clearly I only own one):

"Payments of redemption proceeds are expected to be effected either through CREST (in the case of shares held in uncertificated form) or by cheque (in the case of shares held in certificated form) on or around 31 October 2019"

Not sure I can easily square "...Strong level of realisations from its underlying portfolio..." with the lacklustre NAVs recently, $1.72, $1.72, $1.70 being the last 3 reported.

If it's realisations at NAV, doesn't seem too much to get excited about - we get back a mandatory 20% but the remaining 80% becomes more concentrated & all things being equal, little has changed.

Stronger £ not helping either.

But agree it ought to be worth a couple of cents tick-up.

Perhaps surprising that no share price response to the upcoming 20% redemption at 170c.

Might be wrong (3 words that usually precede actually being wrong) but isn't the JPEL NAV only rarely adjusted? ie mostly it stays stable, and every now and then something happens with an investee company to cause a tweak up or down, but generally valued conservatively and so far always risen strongly on exits.

Remain a holder here, but weak £ does sometimes make me think about exiting.

June NAV down again @ 170c. Personally I'm out; but one has to wonder just what is going on here...

I wonder if JPEL actually makes a monthly calculation or just sticks by the previous month's!

I have not yet had the proceeds credited to my accounts with AJ Bell although a foreign transaction fee has been charged. I have sent a message.

Have now received the payment and have also reinvested that along with a bit more!

Create a fuss, as I had to do with YouInvest this morning. They just had to update their systems and re-download the absurd KIDs statement, though I know not why!

I've had the payout through today, though supposedly the shares are not tradeable. I do not believe this.

Cash rec'd. A useful 9.44% redemption @ the NAV of $1.78.

Have bought back the redeemed stock, with a few more on top.
