An interesting and informative piece of research from Jefferies today.

Their recommendation remains HOLD, however they use three case scenarios, with their BEAR case still giving an IRR of over 8% during the life of the fund.

From presentations I have seen, it looks as if the portfolio is relatively mature, and conservatively valued, yet JEFF are generally sceptical on the ability to achieve disposals above book.

I have had a wonderful run on the shares, and recently aided by a weak £, but I struggle to find anything that appears to have such compelling value.

$1.25 may tempt me, but Im happy still to buy at the moment. It just makes me wonder where all the stock was coming from last week!

Hi tilts - likewise - out all day until after the close.

NAV at 138c for June - a 4.5% increase - a bit unexpected that!

As you know, LSR also had a good day, so pretty chipper.....

If you look back at last year's announcements you will note that End May came out in July. This year End May came out in June, so it feels like a long time since the last announcement. I actually brought this up with Numis last week, and they explained it.

Hopefully they have had some distributions...so we can have one!

Usually we have a monthly NAV statement; but the last one was in June for the month of May.

Has it perhaps been decided to opt for qtly statements - if so, I missed the announcement of such!

Can you advise when we will see an NAV update

All markets are down including the US Futures, so not a surprise that its been called down.

In GBP terms we are a little higher.

Makes little sense - isn't the share price quoted in US$ and aren't the majority of assets US$ denominated? I expected the Sterling share price to increase this morning with the much stronger US$.

Investment policy

Realisation of the Company's Portfolio

Capital Entitlement in October 2017, the Manager will effect an orderly realisation of the investments and other assets comprised in the Company Portfolio and will seek to realise such investments and assets in order to maximize returns to US$ Equity Shareholders.

This will include the Manager exploring the private equity secondary market for the Company's legacy fund interests within three years from June 2016 as well as holding the direct investment portfolio until maturity, if the Manager believes that market pricing would be more favourable than realising such investments before their maturity.

Commencing from June 2016, the Company will not make any new investments save for follow-on investments associated with investments in existence as of June 2016 to meet capital calls with respect to its undrawn commitments to underlying investments or to preserve or protect the value of its existing investments as of June 2016.
