Hargreaves Lansdown is reporting the 1100 target as an upgrade with today's date.

Certainly the split was about releasing value and getting a higher multiple on the aviation side of the business. Perhaps Peel Hunt are a believer that the value will out in the relatively near term once the integration is seen to be done and the company starts delivering at greater scale? I'd sell a few at 1100 I think!

Apropos not much at all, I've just seen the precis of the latest broker update:-

17 May Peel Hunt Buy 474.75 855.00 1,100.00 Retains

With 855 being the old target price and 1100 the new one. That seems a fairly heroic upgrade to me and am wondering if it can be correct? Anyone got access to the note concerned from Peel Hunt that can confirm/deny?

Yes, that's actually pretty solid/improving taken in the round, reasonably impressed by that so bought a few. XD next Thursday.

On track and operating margin growing but revenue growth has slowed in 2018. Will that be enough to turn the share price round?

Seems virtually ALL yesterday’s volume in MNZS was short selling.

Their shorts are small and cover most of the value names on the LSE. Even if Menzies fell 30%, it would make them £500k...hardly moving the needle. It’s a very risky short, is Menzies. BBA might have given them confidence.

So what's the short play here? Is it Brexit-related, oil-price related or just a feeling that without the underlying distribution cashflow Mnzs management will mess things up on the aviation side?

Mnzs now has a declared short interest, GLG increasing on 9th October and 10th October.
