many will lose their shirt here.. Bear market in other oilers - despite high brent - coincides with latest bubble (look at charts). New investors fuel rises on AIM. Bloodbath on a 50m+ MCAP oiler will kill liquidity when they pull their ISAs minus 50%+ of their balance.

There are a few stocks where things are beginning to happen, HUR, MATD, BPC etc so it could be impatience is taking a hold. This is great for me as I had planned to sell a few others and buy more here and now it seems I will get even more lower than the fundraise. Sell away please!

A few sells taking the price down.
are we a victim of people jumping over to HUR for a bit?

Seems a good time to be adding ahead of the drill..

All the action at UKOG folks. David Lenigas bought £500K worth yesterday (I'm sure he's privy to info). UKOG went from 1p-11p last year.

UKOG last time went into double-digits and that was on a drill. This is flow rates for 'the one'

Well, there's some news. But the results of the seismic won't be available for 9 months! At least drilling remains on track for end September/early October. Only three months away.

Yes HD..lack of news though does have the unfortunate side effect of loosing the less patient investors and hence the drift in share price ..but who would want to be out of this right now.

Completely overlooked, which seems strange to me.

Maybe time to top up? Hmm....

Thanks rogerlin. They need an acquisition of producing assets in order to be tax-efficient, of course.

From malcy's blog today: -

Speaking at the Oil Capital Conference yesterday CEO Andrew Benitz confirmed that the rig which will be used to drill the Verbier appraisal is on the high seas and with other commitments is likely to be on site there at the end of the third quarter or beginning of the fourth, subject to other timings. JOG looks in an incredibly strong position at the moment and with both drilling and seismic operations scheduled has significant upside.

Maybe end September early October is not the summer but it's a minor slippage in the overall scheme of things, totally out of the company's control, and normal enough in this game. I can hardly wait for this well. I wonder what the share price will be when it spuds!

These repair delays that are inevitable and have occurred on every rig maintenance in the past 10 years eh.

That tactic failed so he quietly sweeps it under the carpet and moves on to his next feeble attempt at deramping....

FACT is the rig is being repaired. Delays are inevitable..

I have never seen a a rig under maintenance on schedule in 10 years of oil and gas investment

With the greatest respect to Mr. Oil. Clearly, the drilling was always planned to be in September?
Ragnfrid North was also specifically planned to drill first!!!! There is no delay that I am aware of?

This from the announcement of the rig hire back in APRIL 2018

Norwegian oil company Statoil and its partners have contracted the West Phoenix rig for exploration drilling on the UK and Norwegian continental shelves from the summer of 2018.

The contract is awarded to the two Seadrill companies, North Atlantic Drilling UK Ltd. and North Atlantic Norway Ltd.

Statoil said on Thursday that the semi-submersible rig West Phoenix will first drill an exploration well for the Ragnfrid North license on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), followed by three wells on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS). The rig has been approved by authorities for use both on the NCS and UKCS.

This from JOG's own presentation.

On the 1st March 2018 JOG announced that Statoil had awarded contracts to Seadrill North Atlantic Drilling UK Ltd. and North Atlantic Norway Ltd. for the semi-submersible rig, West Phoenix, to drill a well on the Norwegian Continental Shelf followed by three wells on the UKCS. The West Phoenix rig will drill the Verbier appraisal well, with the possibility for a sidetrack well, as the first of Statoil’s planned UKCS wells, in the summer of 2018. The purpose of the planned appraisal well being to determine the potential volume range in the discovery.
