Thanks cyan, I missed that, it's quite clear. Now have to wait for Statoil to unveil their plans, they will take their own time.

Good morning rogerlin.

The answer to your question is here;

uk.advfn.com/stock-market/london/jersey-oil-gas-JOG/share-news/Jersey-Oil-and-Gas-PLC-Placing-to-raise-20m-by-ac/75903255

Extract;

"The Company's carried working interests from both Statoil (U.K.) Limited and CIECO Exploration and Production (UK) Limited have now expired and as such the Company will need to fund its 18 per cent. share of any costs relating to the P.2170 licence."

The Company retains an 18 per cent. interest, of which 10 per cent. will continue to be carried by CIECO, pursuant to the pre-existing arrangements between the parties, and CIECO retains a 12 per cent. interest.

Does the carry by CIECO extend to further work on the licence?

It was all down to expectations. And they fell short so we take a hit. Maybe some more downside tomorrow until the dust settles but it won't change the end result.

I suspect many private investors were unable to take part simply because their brokers were hopeless in either informing them or executing their wishes in a timely fashion. Moreover, I suspect many bought in the open market when the price fell to around £2.05-2.10p rather than going through the bureaucratic process of applying through the open offer

Let's get the flippers out of the way which may take a few days and we should see some strength return though I 'm focusing on the fundamental undervaluation of the company and the price can do what the hell it likes

I'm amazed that it wasn't massively oversubscribed ... hope it's indicative of what might happen over at PPC

The dip is almost certainly PIs selling what they now know they've secured in the open offer ... 10% to 35% profit has been available over the last 2 days.

When you consider where we are at a 90% plus take up is more than positive. Usual market over reaction of course.

So our 200p offer did not completely sell out? Even though the share price was around 225p. Anyone else surprised by that?
