23/1/2024 19:44 | I can see points on both sides and don't get that upset over brexit ?All my mates and family voted for brexit ?A democratic vote was won and that's the end of the story ?If another vote takes place in 25 years plus, then that's fair enough ?They all voted to reduce immigration though and that going up 800,000 last year hasn't pleased them. They say they will all vote Reform, but all that does is help Labour ?That's where I believe they might not be the brightest lol ?Principled though? | gozzie2
23/1/2024 19:18 | Nearly all the intolerant Remainer's I know of have properties or some other financial/family connection to the EU, most are not aware or interested in the Politics of what goes on. Yet they often describe those who voted to go out as ignorant, thick and shouldn't even be allowed to vote! Make's you wonder? | isis
23/1/2024 19:08 | I find people that do not accept a Democratic Vote very difficult to get on with as they no doubt have a lot of strong views but are unable to understand other people's views. Best they stay out, they are packed enough round my way as it is! | isis
23/1/2024 18:56 | terrible old bag that wrote that clearly ill informed piece of left wing invective. I expect nothing less from the Indie | mr.elbee
23/1/2024 18:33 | Well I'm a leftie remoaner and couldn't give a monkeys about the politics of the business?Anyone that is drinking in more expensive establishments because of brexit, is a sandwich short of a picnic lol .?FACT | gozzie2
23/1/2024 16:54 | Up at the open for Marsden's then down 1.5% at close... good numbers that JDW should beat easily. Took a few off the table today to be ready to jump in if the market makers run the share price down tomorrow and there is an opportunity. The key metric for me is margin. | gwatson56

20/1/2024 22:39 | I was in a class once in 1972 of 32 children ?The teacher asked a question and 31 all answered the same ?GOZZIE2 was the only one that said that's wrong sir ???I was CORRECT?I've always been CORRECT??Don't go with the flow ?Why did they panic in 2020??Oooooooh it's the end of the world ?It was the beginning for me lol?CheersWetherspoo | gozzie2

16/1/2024 21:46 | They bought another £4m today. Given it's a cash business they know exactly how much is going through the till's everyday and have fixed outgoings. It does have the smell of confidence in the business. About the only shares that have been going up this Year! | isis
16/1/2024 21:22 | Yes it's interesting they look to be focusing on busy areas like stations where they are doing well and moving away from other places which has suffered with people working from home.Always moving with the times . | tim 3
16/1/2024 21:13 | They've opened or done up several at Train Stations in the past year and one in Bexleyheah that was sold last Summer is still open and serving food and drinks! | isis
16/1/2024 21:00 | Yes on the walk in I noticed most pubs were either empty or shut.Just seen they opened a new pub at Euston too must have a look next time I'm down there. | tim 3
16/1/2024 20:27 | Not all the Drinks are on offer or overcheap either. They do Bells £1.99 for a double but I rarely drink blended Whiskey and much prefer Rum or Vodka anyway. Same thing Lager Drinkers don't usually drink Ales and Real Ale drinkers are the worst with anything, but they do a fair selection and have 200 Pubs in CAMRA so everyone's happy! :-) I know alot of Pubs round here are just not worth bothering with in the Weekdays and vastly overpriced. | isis |
