Thanks for the video interview, steelwatch.

I see Andrew Grant is saying they saw double normal volumes on Vaccine day.

Shame the spread here is so much wider than it was pre-split and the shares less liquid.

Advfn have deleted the post 2213 - the interview with Jarvis - nothing more valuable than free speech.

Thanks for highlighting your interview astonedt. A short interview that effectively gives us a very clear view of JIM's strategy. No acquisitions, no major investments in view - organic growth generating cash - 100% of which will be paid out over time if you include special dividends. Future returns will be governed by market volumes and an expanding pipeline of new corporate clients. Simples!

Perhaps you can ask HL if you are a member, how they conjured up their figures.

The last dividend was 12.5p (& they usually pay out 2/3 of the profits AFAICR so the PE is nowhere near 20.

Pretty sure it's under 15.

4 on the bid, 2 on the offer.
A good sign usually. Is there a large buyer? My buy at 200 the other day was well timed I think.

Maddox

JIM is a bit like an iceberg in that we don''t see at least 80% of what is going on.

Obviously what we can see appears to be heading in the right direction at a fair rate of knots.

Hi Shanklin,

The equivalent period interim dividend was 7.25p last year as compared to 12.5p (3.125p x 4 : 1 share split) this year. So a fairer comparison, and accounting for the share split would suggest a 72% increase.

Any contrary thoughts?

New dividend (equivalent to 12.5 p in old money) is quite the statement of intent from JIM.

I get the feeling things are continuing to go really well.

Well that was a quick change.
Now 3 on the bid and 2 on the ask.
Still the same spread but sell 6000 or buy 4000.
Does somebody read this thread??
