30/10/2020 08:56 | The charts will adjust in time. | steelwatch
30/10/2020 08:40 | It'll take a bit of time for new shares to get in accounts properly Shanklin. MM's just widened spread to save problems? Hopefully will reduce spread in a wee while... | eezymunny
30/10/2020 08:23 | Ideal that the share price has reduced by 75% but the B/S spread is still 30p | shanklin
30/10/2020 08:13 | If it finishes today down 75% on what looks to be a turbulent day for the markets, i will be pleased. :-) All the charts look odd now though, i was wondering how they get re-based/reset. | cfro
30/10/2020 08:07 | I know it was fully expected...but I still got a start when I saw JIM down 76% ;-) | cwa1
29/10/2020 15:36 | Is it too late for a recount :-) I'm hoping for a bit of profit taking and fall in the share price before the next DRIP comes. It's always me me me ;-) Regards. | tenapen

26/10/2020 14:57 | Thanks for that info John | flowc
26/10/2020 07:29 | The above presumably will help increase PrimaryBid volumes What is PrimaryBid’s relationship with Jarvis Investment Management? Jarvis Investment Management Ltd ('Jarvis') are our custodian. | shanklin
23/10/2020 15:43 | No, Primary Bid is clearly a part of JIM's business. Less obvious is the trade processing for trades executed through other company's websites. That is the outsourcing they are undertaking for LSE member firms. Edit: Presumably JIM also provide the front end in many/all cases but it’s then branded to said other company | shanklin
23/10/2020 15:27 | From WHI analyst in July update, (download avail from link in Header above); "Our FY2020 forecasts are upgraded to reflect the business momentum without, however, assuming that trade volumes continue at the same pace we have seen in the past four months in particular. FY2021 upgrades again do not assume recent trading volume levels, but should benefit from the continuing success of JIM’s “Model B” outsourcing activity for London Stock Exchange member firms, which has continued to win new clients and has clear attractions from a cost perspective for JIM’s clients." Any idea what Model B is? Primary bid perhaps... | jonut
23/10/2020 14:30 | Is it not the quarter 4 divi. I smile at some of the negative comments about the splits. This has been a long success story from this management and there decisions. Sell price is at 8.00 | flowc
23/10/2020 13:30 | Oh come on Shanklin, the split is exciting - everyone will have more shares! But seriously, I agree the Q3 dividend will be interesting, was the Q2 the start of a new level or a one-off? Either way, JIM are still great value, even with the recent rise which has made them a top 10 holding for me now. | crazycoops
23/10/2020 12:23 | More significant than the split IMHO will be the size of the Q3 dividend. | shanklin
23/10/2020 11:56 | Was it not on the up before the split? | luderitz
23/10/2020 11:07 | I'm beginning to think we should threaten share splits much more regularly if this is the effect it has :-) | cwa1
22/10/2020 10:41 | All time highs here. | steelwatch
21/10/2020 16:35 | Would have thought it depends on what settlement terms you select when carrying out a sell transaction. | nickk1
21/10/2020 15:26 | Just to be fair to AJB/Youinvest after my earlier comments. I've just sold 4 holdings(mostly small caps) in my pension account and was able to use ALL the cash instantly to buy something that I had my eye on. So fair play to them on this matter. Perhaps they have improved. Though I do note the Contract Notes are unavailable to print as yet but I can live with that much more easily... | cwa1
21/10/2020 14:16 | I assume that we are talking about dealing within an isa where the option of buying on credit with existing portfolio as security isn't allowed as in my Sharedealactive account. Do you have to have free funds in an X-O trading account if so I can see that being a problem if sale proceeds are held back. | melton john
21/10/2020 13:44 | CW1A thanks for your feedback. EezyMunny: I am surprised (but of course accept) that you have had delay issues with HL. I have used them for years as a fairly frequent trader and not had that problem - certainly no comparison with the delays at Jarvis. I should perhaps also confirm that I myself am currently using the Jarvis X-O interface. | saucepan
21/10/2020 12:33 | HL usually takes a wee while to update funds available...not unique to JIM I think... | eezymunny |
