This 13579 chappie seems to be desperate to paint Fusebox (RIP) in a good light ... I wonder.....

If Fusey was spot on, how come JQV have outperformed his darling EKT by 15% in the last three months? Looks to me like the twit got it totally wrong. LOL

Fusey was spot on yet again...

Trading

The Retail Division has experienced a difficult year with the loss of concession
outlets following the administration of Allders Department Stores in January
2005 together with generally weak demand in the classic womenswear sector. In
line with the rest of the market, trading during the final two months of the
financial year was particularly disappointing.

Oops .... w@nkbox calls another share spectacularly wrong ... well, I will refrain from trying to predict the share price, but I do predict a new userid soon ;-)

fusebox - 16 May'06 - 16:56 - 18 of 20

Starting to weaken now.

fusebox - 18 May'06 - 18:07 - 19 of 20

Down again as predicted.

Going down to its lows once again. This share is way overpriced

LOL ... our resident dipstick gets it wrong .... again!
JQV up sharply today thanks to settlement of their legacy pension issue. Results out later this month - not likely to be that good given the earlier trading statement, but with the future pension payments capped, the shares are a lot less riskier now.

Going down to its lows once again. This share is way overpriced following a profit warning and worse is interest rises a possibility.

Today's events make Jurgan's(MrBa5hir)post here seem rather silly...

Jurgan. - 8 Apr'06 - 17:35 - 6 of 13

your concerns about retailers was the same for HME and MFI. HME more than doubled and MFI around +40%.

obviously you have your views, but with your recent similar comments regarding HME and MFI (even saying HME was going bust and implying MFI was going bust as well).. and now sounding similar stuff with regards to JQV, i suspect there is a big credibilty gap on your part... many will simply ignore your views. Obviously you have a right to express them. good luck.

ps if you really think this is a bad stock, why not back it up with some action - short the stock, as the only way to prove the belief in your own words is to make money out of it (as is the case when people trump a stock, they are usually long) otherwise is just emtpy rhetoric.

happy investing !!

Holders should think very carefully about exitting as soon as possible. The sales downturn could turn this company back into a loss again.

Get out imo.

The standard excuse "In common with a number of clothing retailers in the UK, trading was disappointing" is pathetic. What it means is that in the fickle world of fashion customers fancied what was on offer elsewhere - MKS put out a positive statement and having gone through a bad patch is obviously getting customers back, likewise ARD, which includes JQV rival Country Casuals (In the first 10 weeks of the new year, ending on 8 April 2006, CC sales increased by 12.1% on a like for like basis).

Just a reminder that i started this thread when the shares were 8p
and the stock did go more or less in a straight line to 26p so they
did make 200% at their peak.
