Jungmana, look at the latest accounts. They probably don't need to raise funds until Xmas/January. That assumes they don't start ramping up revenues, which we certainly hope they will anyway.

What's the point deramping something so far down simply on Woody selling.

Shorters gonna get burned.

Yep. Expenses are about GBP 200k a month and will need to raise funds by end of this year.( imo over coming 2 to 4 months) .Can't leave it till they run out of cash.

Jungmana how do you know that the remainder haven't been bought in a block like Jupiter a couple of months ago? Perfectly possible Woodford dumped at 1p, the directors and 'X' insti got 50M at 1.1p, and the rest are currently free-trading amongst PIs at 1.5p. The new insti would only need to declare later this week. Just a thought anyway.

Why would they pay more if they don't have to? PI logic gone mad this morning.

I can't see an over hang at all, but a few more trades will tell us more.

Having said all that, o do think 1.1p is probably very attractive.

Won't the company also need a fundraising at some point? Further overhang from that.

Well it does, it indicates the price they were willing to pay, which was a massive discount to the market. Given they know the company best that is very relevant, Good for them.

Jupiter took 37m a few weeks back but from who , I don't know

There is an overhang imo. As far as we know Woodford had 88m shares and only about 24m was bought on Friday.

Because what the directors pay has nothing to do with nothing. They negotiated with Woody and probably did him a deal in the first place.
They probably got a much better deal than the mm's.
I don't believe there is even an overhang anymore personally, my thought is the bus is about to go as soon as a few more buys come in.
But we shall see.

Price directors willing to pay is 1.1, why would you pay nearly 50% more one day later?

Market sentiment does make you laugh.

We are all getting them at a massive discount to the fair price thanks to woody yet people now stopped buying as directors getting them a bit cheaper.

Woodford must have dumped them with a broker at 1p. The broker then offered some to the directors at 1.1p and is now dripping them out at 1.5p to PIs. Unfair but that's the way the markets work!Still it's encouraging to see decent £50k director buys.

Hold on. On Friday around 24M shares were bought and 6M sold all at around the 1.4p to 1.6p mark.

We now find that the directors bought at 1.1p ?

Are we saying that Woodford is doing private deals to sell his shares - which were then either bought "off radar" by the directors or moved into the hands of market makers to be sold as "agency" without even registering as sells ?

With more Woodford shares to dump , could drop today if buying dries up at this level

Yeah I know it's a much lower price than Thursday but it still shows how all the pi's have way over paid in relation to what price the Woodford block was sold for. I thought they were going for a 10-20% mark up but if the directors paid 1.1p then it looks like the block was sold for 1-1.1p, not bad when you spent late Friday offloading it for 1.6p, that must be around 40% profit jeez

And if Wins get their way pre market it could open higher at 1.65.1.7p to buy

Wish I could have bought at 1.1p, I would of doubled my holding at least.

Onwards & upwards

Bit off putting that they paid 1.1p but all the pi's have to pay a minimum 1.4p and most on Friday paid 1.5-1.6p

That is some % difference, no wonder the FD piled in for so many, no brainer at that price.

All should be clear in a day or 2 once they have finished selling Woodfords shares
